While Amanda and Hermione finished searching the Riddle House and the Gaunt House and destroyed the Horcrux located at the Gaunt House, Cho Chang, Marietta Eckmore, and Penelope had also finished searching the entire Malfoy Manor.
"Thank you for your cooperation, Mrs. Malfoy." Cho Chang smiled gently, politely thanking Narcissa.
"You're welcome," Narcissa shook her head. "Since I have decided to join Miss Amanda's side, I should naturally cooperate with Miss Amanda's actions."
"However," Narcissa looked hesitantly at the three young Ravenclaw witches in front of her, "may I ask what exactly Miss Amanda is looking for?"
Hearing Narcissa's question, Penelope thought for a moment and quickly spoke, "What we are looking for is closely related to defeating Voldemort."
"Alright, I understand," Narcissa nodded. "Among the Pure-blood families, those willing to stand with Miss Amanda will probably cooperate with you three ladies in searching their Castles, but those unwilling to stand with Amanda might..."
She looked steadily at the three young witches, indirectly reminding them that those Pure-blood families would likely not cooperate and might even bring them danger.
"We understand," Marietta Eckmore nodded with a smile. "So our target this time does not include those Pure-blood families who are not part of our faction."
"That's good," Narcissa nodded properly. "Additionally, you may check the vaults of those of us who still have people and are willing to cooperate."
"But for the vaults of those Pure-blood Wizards who do not cooperate or have been imprisoned in Azkaban, I'm afraid you won't be able to enter."
"Unable to enter?" Penelope frowned. "The Pure-blood families have deep kinship ties and are almost all related to each other. Can we not enter even then?"
"No," Narcissa shook her head and sighed. "After we marry into another family, our family affiliation changes as well. For those uncooperative Pure-blood families, we cannot open their vaults through others; the Goblins of Gringotts would not allow it."
"As for those Pure-blood Wizards imprisoned in Azkaban, their vaults have already been taken over by the Ministry of Magic, so we cannot enter those either."
"Is that really the case?" Marietta Eckmore looked at Cho Chang and Penelope with a troubled expression. In that case... unless they waited until Hermione became the Minister for Magic, if they wanted to search those corresponding Gringotts vaults, they would have to break in.
Breaking into Gringotts vaults—the three young witches swallowed hard as they looked at each other.
Not to mention, while it felt dangerous, it also felt a bit exciting.
All communication was completed through a few glances. Penelope looked away and back at Narcissa. "Mrs. Malfoy, we shall take our leave now."
"Alright, I wish you all the best."
"We will. Thank you, Mrs. Malfoy." Cho Chang nodded in response, and then the three young witches walked out of Malfoy Manor together.
"Where to next?" Marietta Eckmore turned to look at Penelope, the oldest of the three.
"Let's go to the Parkinson Family," Penelope said after a moment's thought. "Their family isn't far from the House of Malfoy."
Just as Cho Chang and Marietta Eckmore were about to agree, the magically enhanced communicator Amanda had given them in advance rang in their pockets.
"Amanda, what's wrong?" The three took out their communicators and lit up the screens; the faces of the three of them and Amanda appeared on the screen together.
"Hermione and I have finished searching the Riddle House and the Gaunt House and successfully destroyed a Horcrux. Progress is much faster than I estimated. Senior Cho Chang, Senior Marietta, Senior Penelope, come to Hermione's house first. Harry and Ron will be over in a while, and we'll discuss the next plan."
Amanda looked at the screen expressionlessly, her cold voice reaching the ears of the three on the other side through the communicator.
"Alright, we'll be there right away."
Looking at the address sent by Amanda on the communicator, Cho Chang and the other two responded.
Hanging up the communicator, Penelope raised her wand without hesitation. The next second, a knight bus screeched to a halt in front of the three.
"Since the task on our side ended so quickly, what are your plans next?"
Hermione took a sip of the milk tea Amanda had made. Feeling the sweet taste in her mouth, she narrowed her eyes comfortably at the person beside her.
"I plan to go look for the other Horcruxes with Senior Cho Chang and the others, while Hermione, Harry, and Ron give speeches together."
"This will also make it easier for Hermione to gather more public support." Amanda's brain instinctively and quickly thought through the upcoming plan changes, and she then stated one of the most effective options.
"Do we need to be apart?" Hermione pursed her lips, her fingers tapping lightly on the cup.
Amanda blinked and expressionlessly leaned closer to Hermione, opening her mouth to gently kiss away the ring of milk tea residue on her upper lip.
"We're only apart during the day. Won't we still come home at night?"
After finishing this action, she sat back in her seat. The heat on her face began to spread, and she didn't quite understand why she had suddenly done that.
Hermione watched Amanda's reddening cheeks, raised an eyebrow, and stuck out her tongue to lick her upper lip. This girl was really becoming more and more enlightened.
Even before her emotions were fully restored, she looked better than Harry and Ron, those two boys whose combined EQ was only two teaspoons.
Just as she thought of Harry and Ron, Hermione heard the clear sound of the doorbell from the entrance. She leaned forward and kissed Amanda's flushed cheek.
Hermione stood up and walked to the door to open it.
Raising her hand to gently touch the cheek Hermione had just kissed, the flush on Amanda's face slowly faded, but the corners of her mouth quickly curled up.
Harry and Ron, who had just walked in, looked past Hermione and saw the flush that hadn't completely faded from Amanda's face and the smile on her lips. After a moment of stunned silence, they realized what was happening and immediately looked away.
"Ahem, good afternoon, Hermione."
The two boys looked at each other and greeted Hermione with smiles.
"Good afternoon." Noticing the change in Harry and Ron's gaze, Hermione raised an eyebrow and nodded in response.
Amanda watched the three finish their greetings before standing up and walking forward. "Harry, Ron, good afternoon."
"Good afternoon."
Harry and Ron nodded, and then sat down at the dining table with Amanda and Hermione.
As soon as they sat down, Amanda gave Harry and Ron each a cup of milk tea, while Hermione crossed her arms and asked about their homework.
"You should have finished your homework by now, right?" Hermione raised an eyebrow and looked at the two boys across from her with an imposing air.
Seeing the aura around Hermione, Harry and Ron nodded with relief. "Finished."
Fortunately, fortunately, they hadn't been lazy and had started writing their homework in the first few days of the holiday, finishing it just as the first week passed.
"That's good," Hermione gave a satisfied, bright smile. "Didn't you write it very quickly? It seems you both have a lot of potential."
For no reason, Harry and Ron couldn't help but shudder.
Can't admit it, the thought popped into Harry's mind. Can't admit it; admitting to such a claim would be disastrous.
"No, finishing the homework this week was my limit. Really, my arm even hurts from writing."
As he spoke, he raised his right arm for Hermione to see. Hermione shook her head with a smile and stopped joking with her two best friends.
Five minutes later, Cho Chang, Marietta Eckmore, and Penelope also arrived at Hermione's house. The seven children gathered together to begin discussing the next plan.
"So we can't enter the vaults of at least half of the Pure-blood families."
Hermione frowned, her finger tapping lightly on the tabletop. Whether it was the Ministry of Magic or Gringotts blocking them.
If they were to break in... it definitely wasn't appropriate now.
The Ministry of Magic was still functioning; they couldn't completely stand in opposition to it.
"There's no rush for these," Amanda's brain worked quickly to process and analyze the current situation, and she shook her head. "Those vaults we can't enter for now can be accessed after Hermione becomes the Minister for Magic, or..."
Amanda paused for a moment, a hint of slyness slowly appearing on her face. "After Voldemort finishes gathering his remaining forces and the Wizarding World descends into chaos, we can break into Gringotts."
"Voldemort gathering his remaining forces?" Ron looked up at Amanda in confusion.
"Doesn't Voldemort only have a small half of the Pure-blood families and those guys in Azkaban supporting him?"
Does that even need time to gather? He should have been able to gather them the day he was resurrected. Even Azkaban, if it's Voldemort... Ron thought while secretly complaining in his heart. With the way the Ministry of Magic guarded Azkaban like it was made of paper, it would probably be breached in less than two days.
"Giants, werewolves, Dementors," Amanda recited the races one by one, looking steadily at her six friends. "These races are widely marginalized and discriminated against in the Wizarding World, and they all have certain Dark Arts attributes."
"They will be natural allies for Voldemort," Amanda continued to speak rapidly as the dots of clues in her mind connected into a line. "Among these three races, the Dementors are the most special. Our side cannot win them over at all; only Voldemort can offer them conditions that satisfy them."
After all, none of them could promise to let the Dementors feed on human happiness and souls on a large scale, right?
But Voldemort could; he could completely use the entire UK, or even a larger scale of Muggles, as a bargaining chip.
Then, thinking of her previous analysis that Headmaster Dumbledore was very likely leading an organization resisting Voldemort, she immediately made some guesses about the composition of this organization based on the connections around Headmaster Dumbledore.
Then, for the other two races, Headmaster Dumbledore actually had candidates he could send to negotiate.
"For the Giant race, Headmaster Dumbledore will likely send Hagrid to win them over; for the Werewolf race, Headmaster Dumbledore will likely send Professor Lupin to win them over."
In just a few seconds, Amanda had deduced most of the arrangements Headmaster Dumbledore would make at the end of this school year.
But then she pursed her lips and shook her head. "But neither of these efforts will succeed."
"Why?" Harry looked at Amanda in confusion. He didn't quite understand why the Giants and werewolves would definitely not accept the hand of peaceful coexistence they extended.
"Because of hatred," Hermione sighed and looked up at Harry. "There is inherently an irreconcilable and deep-seated hatred between these two races and humans. The Giant race was driven into the deep mountains by humans, and Werewolf Wizards are also heavily discriminated against in the Wizarding World. Harry, do you really think the three of us can achieve the goal of peaceful coexistence in a short time?"
Hermione didn't deny that it was possible for the three to coexist peacefully; in fact, if she became the Minister for Magic, she would certainly work hard to achieve that.
To make it so that werewolves and Giants no longer attacked humans, and humans no longer discriminated against or were hostile toward them. But there was no doubt that this would take a very long time, rather than being something that could be done overnight.
Hearing Hermione's question, Harry closed his mouth and slowly nodded. Reality was always crueler than hope.
"So a large portion of werewolves and Giants will become our enemies," Amanda leaned her hands on the table and made a certain conclusion. "After assembling all the above forces, Voldemort will begin large-scale actions."
"At that time, whether it's Fudge leading the Ministry of Magic, Hermione leading the Ministry of Magic, or someone else leading the Ministry of Magic, chaos in the British Wizarding World will be unavoidable. It's just a matter of the degree of chaos."
"At that time, whether we enter the Gringotts vaults legally or break into them directly, it will be very convenient."
"I think that works," Penelope nodded thoughtfully. "After all, destroying Horcruxes isn't something that needs to be rushed right now."
This point was unanimously agreed upon by everyone present. Cho Chang propped up her chin and smoothed her hair. "So what we need to continue checking now are the Castles of the Pure-blood families who have already agreed to cooperate with us, as well as their vaults."
"Yes," Amanda nodded affirmatively. "I will go with Senior Cho Chang and the others to check."
"Then it'll still be me and Harry giving the speeches," Ron added from the side. "It just so happens we found a place in Diagon Alley today."
"Not just the two of you; I'll accompany you for the speeches from now on."
Hermione added with a smile.
With the tasks reassigned, Amanda looked at Harry, a hint of thoughtfulness flashing in her eyes. "Harry, Godrics Hollow, your home, is also one of the important locations Voldemort has visited."
"I think we also need to go and take a look to ensure there aren't any other accidentally broken soul fragments like the one on your forehead."
Harry lowered his eyes. Hermione and the other five also fell silent, waiting for him to make his own decision.
"Of course, if you don't want to go, we can go in your place."
Amanda looked at Harry, her voice softening a bit.
"It's fine," Harry took a deep breath and looked up at Amanda with a determined gaze. "I'll go with everyone. It's about time I see my former home."
