Just having climbed out of the trunk and looking at the rain still pitter-pattering outside, Lynn took a deep breath of the cool air scented with earth and lake water.

After tossing and turning for half the night and "persuading" a silly Erumpent, he wasn't feeling sleepy at all now.

"They say rainy days are fishing days...

" Lynn looked out at the surface of the Black Lake, which was as dark as ink but heavily pelted by raindrops.

"High dissolved oxygen, active fish... I don't believe it. I, Lynn, must break this 'blanked' curse today! If it doesn't work during the day or at night, could it be that even a rainy day won't do?"

No sooner said than done!

He once again picked up the fishing rod that had accompanied him through many defeats, checked the line and bait, and then tiptoed out of the tent where slight snoring could be heard, avoiding waking his three roommates.

He chose a relatively flat spot on the shore of the Black Lake with suitable water depth and tapped it lightly with his wand.

"Transfigure!"

Several damp stones and fallen branches on the shore quickly twisted, combined, and stretched, turning in an instant into a stable, makeshift rain shelter with a sloping roof that extended just above the water.

Lynn used Transfiguration to transform another large rock into a comfortable armchair with cushions.

Lynn nestled into the sofa with satisfaction, adjusted his posture, cast his line, and threw the hook with fluorescent bait into the rain-shrouded Black Lake.

Then, he fixed the fishing rod to a nearby stand, crossed his arms, and began another "patient duel" with the fish of the Black Lake.

Raindrops pitter-pattered against the shelter above his head with a dense and rhythmic sound.

Lynn half-closed his eyes, letting his mind go blank as he felt the tranquility unique to a rainy night.

Pitter-patter~ Splash-splash~

Time passed minute by minute. The fishing rod... didn't move an inch.

Lynn waited until his eyelids began to droop, his focus on fishing gradually eroded by sleepiness. Just as his head nodded and he was about to fall asleep on the sofa—

Out of the corner of his eye, he suddenly caught a glimpse of an extremely faint light moving quickly toward their tent from a distance!

The light was very faint, as if shielded by something, but it was still conspicuous in the pitch-black rainy night.

Lynn's sleepiness vanished instantly. What was that?

Thinking back to the sneak attack by Iron just now, Lynn's heart leaped into his throat.

Whatever it was, sneaking toward their tent in the middle of the night was definitely not out of goodwill!

Without a moment's hesitation, Lynn acted purely on instinct.

His wand slid out of his sleeve instantly, aiming at the approaching light.

"Torrential Impact!"

This time, he didn't just summon water; a mass of fine blue-white electrical arcs entwined the thick, surging jet of water like living things.

Crackle!

The slight crackle of the jumping arcs was drowned out by the sound of the rain.

A water mine, a mix of high-pressure water and paralyzing current, tore through the rain curtain and struck the uninvited guest with lightning speed!

"Splash—!!!"

The water column hit the target with precision!

The powerful impact knocked the intruder flat on the ground, mud splashing everywhere! More fatally, the electrical arcs entwined around it spread instantly, making a terrifying "sizzling" sound!

"Ahhh—!!!" x2

Two shrill screams rang out almost simultaneously, piercing the rainy night!

Lynn had already used Apparition the moment he attacked, appearing at the tent's entrance in the next second.

But these screams... why did they sound so familiar?

Lynn's heart skipped a beat, and he hurried over to take a closer look.

On the ground lay two red-haired teenagers wearing Gryffindor robes, looking quite pathetic:

Their hair stood on end, emitting wisps of smoke; their faces were covered in mud, and they were grimacing from the shock, their bodies twitching involuntarily. They seemed to be clutching a rectangular object tightly, which was also emitting faint electrical sparks...

"Fred, George?!" Lynn's eyes widened. "Why is it you two?!"

The twins on the ground struggled to look up, and seeing Lynn, their faces also showed looks of absurdity.

"Lynn?!" x2

Their voices were still trembling from the electric shock...

A few minutes later, inside the spacious tent.

The fire was stoked again, dispelling the chill and dampness brought from outside.

Lynn, the awakened Ollie, William, and Edgar, who was rubbing his eyes groggily, sat together.

Opposite them sat Fred and George, their clothes dried but their hair still occasionally emitting residual sparks, looking somewhat aggrieved.

The atmosphere was a bit awkward yet a bit funny; combined with their lingering fear, they looked exceptionally ridiculous.

"So... you two didn't sleep in the middle of the night, braved the rain, and sneaked to the Black Lake because you saw the names of these three on that... 'map' of yours and thought there was some fun to be had, so you wanted to join our camping party?"

Fred and George nodded at the same time, their movements perfectly synchronized, their frizzy hair swaying along.

"But... why didn't we see your name?" Fred looked at Lynn.

Lynn really wanted to say he had a cheat! But he made up an excuse,

"Maybe the map is a bit old; it's normal for it to malfunction sometimes."

"Brilliant deduction, Lynn!"

George added.

"We thought it would be interesting for Hufflepuff students to be camping out by the lake instead of returning to their dorms. At least... it's more interesting than listening to Percy drone on in the common room!"

"Unfortunately," Fred sighed, pulling out a rectangular object with faint electrical sparks flickering on its surface and the writing on it completely blurred and chaotic.

"Our 'Explorer's Guide'... is completely unusable now. It's not even a matter of it being old."

Clearly, Lynn's electrified "Torrential Impact" had not only baptized the twins but also precisely "taken care of" this magical item.

Lynn looked at the sizzling map, his mouth twitching slightly. He felt it wasn't a big deal.

"...Leave it with me for now. I'll see if I can fix it... I'll return it to you once it's fixed."

George waved his hand.

"No rush, no rush! We brothers have long since memorized all the secret passages and hidden tunnels on the map! We could walk all over Hogwarts with our eyes closed!"

Fred chimed in, his tone becoming sly:

"It's just that... in the future, when we want to avoid Filch and the patrolling Professors at night, it might be a little more troublesome... we'll need to use our clever brains more!"

They seemed to have recovered from this "accident" and began to find the situation itself quite amusing.

After chatting a bit more and drinking some hot chocolate to calm their nerves, Fred and George stood up to leave.

They had come in high spirits, intending to cause a stir, but ended up becoming the spectacle themselves, returning bedraggled with frizzy hair.

After seeing off the pair of jokers, the tent became quiet again.

Edgar yawned, muttering, "What a night..." and fell back asleep instantly.

William and Ollie exchanged a look and went back to rest as well.

Lynn walked to the tent entrance, looking at the rain that still hadn't stopped, then at his fishing rod still standing motionless under the shelter by the lake.

Well, tonight, first he was ambushed by an Erumpent, then he accidentally injured the twins who came to "visit," getting spooked twice in a row... It was truly bizarre.

His mood for fishing was completely gone.

Lynn sighed and packed up his fishing rod, thinking: This definitely doesn't count as being blanked; I just don't want to fish anymore.
