The Erumpent was just about to exert its strength to leap when it was blasted directly by Lynn's Knockback Jinx. Although it didn't cause any substantial damage, it made the creature stumble, and its charge failed once again.

It shook its head, its eyes fixed on Lynn, who was still suspended in mid-air, looking down at it from above. White steam puffed from its nostrils.

"Moo-roar! (That was just a mistake! I should have jumped higher and faster!)"

It bent its knees again, muscles bulging, preparing for a third jumping impact—it simply didn't believe it couldn't hit this flying little bug!

Lynn watched the persistent giant beast from the air, feeling a bit suspicious: This Erumpent... why does it feel like its brain isn't very bright?

"Moo-roar—!!! (Come down here! If you've got the guts, don't fly!)" The Erumpent roared at the sky, its voice shaking the surroundings, filled with provocation and irritability.

Lynn: "..."

He was sure now; its brain really wasn't bright.

Lynn also shouted down: "If you have the ability, come up here! Jump! Jump higher!"

"Moo-roar! (You wait!)"

The Erumpent's anger level went off the charts. Its hind hooves dug two deep pits in the ground, and its entire body's strength suddenly exploded!

This time, it jumped higher than the previous two times, and the angle was even more tricky. Its two giant horns gleamed coldly, swearing to pierce Lynn through!

At the moment the Erumpent leapt to its highest point—when its old momentum was spent and new strength had yet to be born, making it unable to change direction in mid-air—Lynn's figure flashed, and he flew to the side and rear of the Erumpent.

Now is the time!

A silver light flashed as Thunder Summoning was activated!

He didn't summon a large-scale thundercloud, as that would make too much noise; instead, he concentrated the energy at the tip of his wand.

The wand in his hand suddenly erupted with a blinding blue-white light, with crackling electric snakes coiling around it.

Lynn unhesitatingly pointed his wand at the Erumpent's—center of the buttocks—which was facing him.

"You like to launch sneak attacks while others are in the bathroom, don't you?!" Lynn shouted as he fiercely fired the lightning, his mouth never stopping. "You like to headbutt people, right?! Try headbutting again and let me see! Taste this—Lightning Chrysanthemum Sting!"

Crackle! Sizzle—!!!

A blue-white bolt of lightning, slender but containing terrifying piercing power and a paralyzing effect, accurately hit the Erumpent's "vital spot"!

Sizzle~ Sizzle~ Sizzzzzle~~~

Several small, branching bolts of lightning followed in quick succession, continuously electrocuting the same spot.

The Erumpent's massive body stiffened abruptly in mid-air, then uncontrollably froze!

Its eyes instantly bulged wide, filled with unbelievable pain, paralysis, and a soul-deep sense of "What the hell?"

Fortunately, at this moment, it was raining heavily over Hogwarts, and dull thunder could be heard in the distance.

Although Lynn's "artificial lightning" made quite a bit of noise, under the cover of natural thunder, it wasn't particularly out of place. At most, it seemed like a very close bolt of lightning had struck the edge of the Forbidden Forest.

It had to be said that the resistance of a XXXX-class dangerous creature like an Erumpent was truly ridiculously high!

After being struck by the lightning concentrated by Lynn's Thunder Summoning—enough to instantly char a group of Grindylows—repeatedly on a fragile part like the "chrysanthemum," it actually didn't scream out in pain.

This defensive power... was simply insane!

While continuously outputting lightning, Lynn even changed a few angles to ensure "equal distribution," all while being unable to help clicking his tongue in amazement.

If he could skin this creature completely, process it into a suit of full-body armor, and then add enough defensive magic, wouldn't he be able to walk horizontally in a Wizard's duel?

Thinking of this, Lynn's gaze toward the Erumpent became even more "passionate." Of course, the lightning output from his hand didn't stop for a second.

"I'll damn well keep striking! Let's see how long you can hold out!"

The Erumpent's current feeling could no longer be described by simple "pain."

It was a mixture of extreme soreness, numbness, pain, and itching that rushed from its tailbone straight to the top of its head and then spread down its spine to all its limbs!

The lightning's energy ran wild inside its tough but non-insulating body.

It felt as if it were being stung by ten thousand electric bees in its most vital spot at the same time, or as if it had been stuffed into the furnace of a functioning Lightning Lord!

It wanted to roar, wanted to beg for mercy, wanted to tell the demon in the sky to stop striking!

But its mouth muscles completely refused to obey, paralyzed and stiff from the electricity; it could only make some "Heh... heh..." airy sounds.

It couldn't take it anymore... if this continued... the Erumpent's dignity would be completely lost... no, its life would be gone!

At this moment, the instinct for survival overrode everything. It used the last bit of strength in its body to try and control that damn mouth.

Finally, as another "gentle" bolt of lightning brushed over its buttocks—

"Moo~~~ (Stop~~)"

This sound was as weak as a thread, filled with countless twists and turns.

After saying that word, its eyes rolled back, its massive body stopped twitching, and it fell straight to the ground.

Lynn: "!!!"

...Half an hour later, inside the trunk, in the simulated mountain and hill area.

The Erumpent's body moved, and its consciousness, which had been muddled by the electricity, gradually returned.

The first things it felt were the omnipresent soreness and faint pain all over its body, especially in a certain unspeakable area, which felt like it was burning.

It struggled to open its eyelids, and its blurred vision gradually became clear.

What came into view was a face leaning very close.

"Moo-roar—!!! (Help!!!)"

The Erumpent was scared out of its wits, its four hooves kicking wildly as it tried to get up and run, but its movements looked more like it was rolling on the ground.

Lynn was startled by its sudden scream and struggle, and said crossly:

"Why are you shouting so loud! Didn't I just... well, slightly... almost strike you to death? Is such a big reaction necessary?"

"Moo-roar~ Moo-roar~ (Help~ Stop striking~ I'm going to die~)"

The Erumpent was still wailing. It felt like it had just escaped a nest of lightning only to fall into a mouth of lightning; its life as a beast was pitch black.

Lynn's head throbbed from the noise. Just as he was about to give it another "gentle" reminder, he suddenly slapped his forehead: "Oh! I forgot to turn on Affinity! Look at the mess I've made!"

The Erumpent, which was preparing for a desperate struggle, suddenly froze.

It felt that the aura of this two-legged beast in front of it... had changed?

How did it suddenly... feel... a bit... friendly?

This sudden sense of closeness conflicted strongly with the terrifying memory of lightning striking its butt, making the Erumpent's brain a bit overwhelmed.

Erumpent: What a strange... and contradictory feeling... My butt tells me to stay away, but my instinct tells me to get closer...

Lynn cleared his throat, a smile appearing on his face that, in the Erumpent's eyes, made its butt feel phantom pain.

"Now, can you quiet down and listen to me speak?"

The Erumpent nodded hesitantly... it was indeed scared of the electricity.

"Very good." Lynn nodded. "First question: how did you end up here at Hogwarts? This isn't exactly the traditional habitat for your kind."

The Erumpent began to intermittently recount its "fantasy drift."

This Erumpent originally lived in a remote hill in Southwest Britain. That was its small territory, and life was quite pleasant.

Until a few days ago, several Wizards riding fiery red brooms flew over its territory at high speed. A roar similar to an engine made it very unhappy, feeling as if it had been violated.

So, it actually kept "mooing" all the way, chasing the trails of those Wizards' brooms that had long since disappeared into the horizon, beginning its long-distance raid!

It followed a sparsely populated route, crossing mountains and ridges, fording rivers and marshes. With its amazing stamina and an obsession of "I must headbutt you guys over," it actually chased from the Southwest Peninsula all the way to the vicinity of Hogwarts in the Scottish Highlands!

The straight-line distance exceeded 600 kilometers!

During that time, it also happened to avoid major Muggle towns and Wizard settlements...

After hearing its story, Lynn fell silent.

He looked at the Erumpent in front of him and felt that his previous evaluation of it being "a bit stupid" was still too conservative and too polite.

How was this "a bit stupid"?

This was clearly stupid to the point of smoking, stupidly persistent, stupid with style, and stupid to a high level!

If you said it was smart, it could do something as dumb as chasing Wizards for over six hundred kilometers just for the sake of a grudge; if you said it was completely stupid, it actually knew to pick remote routes and didn't cause a large-scale disturbance.

"Moo-roar? Moo-roar-roar-roar... (So... can you let me go? I promise to go back immediately and never chase things in the sky again.)"

The Erumpent felt that although this two-legged beast was terrifying, he also seemed quite reasonable, and might let it off.

Lynn didn't speak, but silently raised his wand.

At the tip of the wand, blue-white electric sparks that made the Erumpent's butt muscles revive jumped cheerfully.

The Erumpent's whole body stiffened.

"Moo-roar! Moo-roar-moo-roar... (Wait! Spare my butt! I think... the environment here is also quite good! This is the new home I've been looking for! Please be sure to take me in!)"

Seeing the Erumpent's urgent look of "I'm voluntary, really!", Lynn satisfiedly put away his wand.

[Ding! Task completed. Reward issued.]

"Welcome home, Iron. From now on, this is your home. Remember to follow the resident regulations. Rule number one: no sneak attacks while others are in the bathroom."

The Erumpent nodded its head like a pounding pestle: "Moo! (Guaranteed!)"

In its heart, it thought: Who would dare!
