Chapter 55 - Chapter 55

Kakashi stepped into what would most likely be considered a throne room of sorts in the train, seeing Doto sitting casually with a wine glass in his hand, grunts forming a human barrier around him.

"Doto."

Koyuki spoke his name with defiance and disgust, something she had never done to her 'uncle'.

Doto smiled at her as if he didn't destroy her life.

"You've truly grown to be a beautiful woman. I'm sure your father would be proud of you."

Koyuki's pretty face scrunched up, her nails digging into her palms with enough force to draw blood.

"If my father isn't resting easy, I'm sure your death will go a long way in accomplishing that."

Doto laughed behind his wine glass before taking a sip and looking over at Kakashi.

"What's say you, Kakashi Hatake. What have they agreed to pay you for this mission? Money? tech? or maybe both?"

Doto set his wine glass down, standing and turning to look out of his room.

"I could give you that and more. In addition to doubling any mission pay and other agreements, I will draft an alliance that would benefit Konoha. Think about it: Chakra armor for your nation would solidify its power after all the losses suffered during the ninja wars and the Nine-Tails attack. All I ask is that you hand me the crystal on her necklace. Do that simple task, and Konoha and the Land of Snow would prosper."

Koyuki's eyes widened in shock, looking over at Kakashi and relieved to see him unmoved.

"Are you done?"

Kakashi spoke up, feeling this man was just like all the other corrupt businessmen/merchants he had ever dealt with.

Doto turned, shedding his bulky robes to reveal his chakra armor.

"A shame, Konoha could have flourished."

"Konoha will do that regardless; I'll ensure it does. A deal with you would perhaps benefit Konoha in some ways, but an alliance with the Land of Snow would require one thing."

Kakashi spoke, taking no aggressive stance, though he was positioned to protect Koyuki at a moment's notice.

"And what would that be?"

Doto asked, knowing he probably wouldn't like the answer.

"Your death."

Kakashi said before a wave of silver exploded from him, the wooden furniture around him cracking under the pressure.

Like dominoes, the grunt fell down, some even near death.

Doto smirked.

"I've prepared for this moment, Kakashi."

Doto's armor hummed; the amount of chakra stored in it wasn't little by any means, as he leaped at Kakashi with a powerful burst, closing the short distance with his right guantleted arm vibrating.

'Great Value Whitebeard.'

Kakashi slipped to the left of the punch as he leaned back and kicked Doto through the roof and up to the top of the train.

Kakashi leaped up to the outside roof of the train, seeing Doto stand up with a grunt and gritted teeth.

"You're better than most Jonin when taking into account your armor, but that's all you are. Someone who's using this armor to hide his fear."

Doto lunged again, the vibration punches from his chakra gauntlets were powerful, but they didn't mean much if he couldn't land a blow, and that's what was happening, Kakashi was dodging with his hands in his pockets. Left, right, down, up, each dodge was fluid and only made Doto more and more angry, channeling more and more chakra into himself.

"Kage level reserves, not bad."

Kakashi cracked his neck before getting into the usual stance that Gai uses. His left hand held out, fingers together as his right was behind his back, making a 'bring it on' motion with his fingers.

Doto charged, punched, and kicked flying as he tried over and over again to get in Kakashi's guard, but Kakashi kept pivoting, deflecting, and outright dodging his attacks.

'Not even using observation, he's just that bad.'

Kakashi held the stance as Doto charged a large portion into his fist.

"Take this, bastard!"

Kakashi deflected the attack by tapping the top of Doto's hand, causing the vibration attack to destroy a large portion of the roof of the train.

"Quit destroying my train."

Kakashi spun to the right and slammed the back of his foot onto Doto's jaw, rocking the larger man and only infuriating him more.

"If I can't capture Koyuki, then I'll just kill her."

Doto looked down at Koyuki through the destroyed roof, but he messed up by looking away from Kakashi.

'I don't need it, but I feel like it.'

"Eight inner gates, first gate of opening, open."

Doto looked up to see that Kakashi had vanished.

"Behind you."

Doto looked behind him right as a fist shattered his nose, but that wasn't the end of his pain. Kakashi blurred under Doto and kicked him into the air by the bottom of his chin.

Flying through the air over the train, Doto felt someone grab hold of him before he was tilted upside down mid-air.

"Let go of me!!"

Doto shouted as Kakashi spun them headfirst down at the train.

*Boom

Breaking through a different compartment, Kakashi stood up, Doto's upper body buried in the floor of the train.

Kakashi grabbed Doto by his foot and pulled him out of the floor like a vegetable.

"You done now?"

Kakashi asked, smirking when he noticed Doto's defiant look, picking him up by his foot and slamming him from side to side before he started using the man as a sledgehammer, destroying all the ugly furniture, going up and down the compartments.

Kakashi dragged the half-dead man back to the compartment Koyuki was in.

Koyuki winced at the damage to him. Doto would be unrecognizable if it weren't for the chakra armor.

"You really didn't take it easy on him."

Kakashi just chuckled at that, having actually had a harder time fighting his genin team for their bell test. Doto had the chakra and physical strength, but he was very sloppy and might have been a challenge years ago; now, he was like a punching bag for him.

"He had a really punchable face."

Kakashi's sword appeared in his hands, going to stab him in the head.

"Wait!"

Kakashi stopped just before the blade broke skin, turning to look at her with a raised eyebrow.

"You want to spare him?"

"Never."

Koyuki denied, eyes burning with rage.

"I want to do it myself."

Koyuki stepped up, hands shaking, but she wanted, no, needed to do this. This man was her nightmare for years, and she needed to face and be the one who sees the end of this nightmare.

"Can I borrow that blade?"

Kakashi placed the blade in her hand, corrected her grip, explained the best way to do it, and stepped back, giving her a moment to gather herself.

Doto cracked his right eye open, blood trailing down his face, his left eye having been damaged sometime when Kakashi was using him to redecorate the train.

"Haa~ You're going to kill me? Didn't think you had the guts. You were always a cowardly little child, even now, grown as you are. Well? Get on with it, Koyuki. Kill me like I did your father. He begged me not to kill you, you know? 'Not Koyuki, anything, but her.' It was pathetic to see someone everyone thought to be the perfect leader break down over you, an insignificant brat."

*Shink

Koyuki didn't reply, not giving the man the satisfaction of seeing her rage; instead, she smiled.

"Rest well, uncle, I'm sure hell will be nice and cozy."

Koyuki ground the blade into his neck and twisted over and over again until Doto stopped moving, the life in his eyes gone. Only then did the trembling in her hands come back, and she felt sick.

Koyuki let go of the blade as Kakashi gently pried it away and wiped the blood on Doto's corpse, sealing the blade back and guiding her to an open window.

Kakashi looked over the controls of the train as Koyuki puked, scratching his head as it was all just levers and buttons without labels.

"Ahh, I can just wake up one of Doto's subordinates."

Kakashi picked up one of them and started slapping it until it woke up.

"Try to do anything other than what I tell you, and I'll kill you. Don't touch or look at Koyuki, or I'll kill you. Operate this train and stop us at the capital. I'll know if you move from this spot."

The man nearly pissed his pants, but he hurriedly nodded, operating the controls to the train as Kakashi began tossing all the unconscious men out of the window once Koyuki was done puking.

"Sensei, we're done."

Naruto said as he entered alongside Sasuke and Karin.

"Nice job, did you get the armor?"

Kakashi felt the embarrassment of Karin and Naruto before he even turned to look at them.

"What happened?"

Kakashi asked like a father who knew the worst had happened before even asking.

"Well….. I burned most of it."

"I… might have blown it up alongside two whole train compartments."

Kakashi mourned the loss of the armor, but didn't dwell on it, gesturing to the more advanced armor on Doto.

"Since you two destroyed two sets of armor, it'll be you who removes it and stores it in a scroll."

"Yes, Sensei."

They replied together before getting to work.

- Chapter End -

Hope you all enjoyed it. This was realistically as far as I could drag this out. Kakashi or the others wouldn't have trouble with the snow ninja. The snow ninja operated with gimmicks and couldn't use most of them on a train. And Doto wasn't going to do shit to Kakashi.
