Elena was happy to look at Smile once again,
But Smile had no activeness in his eyes,
It was hard to distinguish between a corpse and him.
She was holding a small bowl with spoon, which looked like some cereal.
She came closer to him, and started to feed him with the spoon,
There's no way Smile would reject that, right now he would've done anything to replenish his energy.
Soon he regained some of his energy, and asked in a weak tone, "Why are you doing all this to me"
Elena stared at him with expression of excitement as if she's gonna finally share the reason.
The bowl became empty she kept it aside on the floor, and brought another chair to sit infront of him,
She said, "You must've realised by now, I'm not a normal person from a normal family"
She continued, "We're the family of Coldkill"
Smile blinked few times as if he remembered something through it, he had read a book called 'Shadows of Jade' where I talked about all the gangs and mafia that was there.
However there were 3 such families which was at high place,
One of them was the Coldkill, he couldn't remember the other 2 very much.
These mafia's weren't normal, they all contained professional hitmans, sort of bounty hunters who would be hired to hunt down real people.
However as the time passed, the competition between the 3 mafia's rose and they started to hunt on each other's hunters.
But why was that the reason for him to be here,
Perhaps he'd know more as she spoke
Elena elaborated, "You must have guessed by now, that you're here so that we can train you to be a powerful mercenary of our group"
Smile replied, "But why me, out of all the people you could've chosen in the school"
Elena stared at him with a dissapointed expression, "Do you not remember me, Smile?, remember you've saved me one day, from that time I've fallen in mad love with you, that I'd want you to be forever with me"
Smile shook a little, he didn't remember anything about Elena, his memory was quite excellent but why couldn't he remember a girl he saved,
Perhaps it was a trauma for him,
Human brain generally makes the human forget their trauma,
Was it the reason.
But one thing was for sure, Smile was utterly devastated by the fact, that he would be trained like a devil to be a killer,
He cursed himself, he was literally like a npc in his school because he didn't want any trouble but look at him now.
What would happen to him, what would happen to his humanity, would he ever be free, will he even be able to meet his friends.
Tears came out of the emotionless face, he didn't sob or make any sounds, just tears rolling down his face,
He had a little hopes of escaping this place in future, but he gave up on all of it and fell into a state of despair.
Elena kept staring at his face with a sorrowful expression, "You seem to be in a lot of pain, I'll be taking you out of chair so that you can move around a little"
Elena clapped twice and two strong looking adult came from the stairs, as if they were her bodyguards.
One held Smile and other one removed all the locks,
Even if he wanted to escape, he had no energy to perform such act.
Smile's hand was tied with a chain to one side of a wall,
He couldn't reached the table at the other end nor he could move near the stairs,
His space was still limited.
Elena said, "From now on you'll only be locked in chair, when Tom will be training you"
Elena continued, "Since I've given you some freedom, I'll take some of it in other way"
She came extremely close to Smile who was sitting leaning on a wall.
She held his chin gently and lifted it towards her eyes.
"If you escape from here, I'll brutally murder your friends infront of your eyes"
Smile eyes widened, he was angry, he lift his hand to slap or possibly kill Elena right here,
One of the bodyguard came in an insane speed and slammed his head to the wall behind him,
Knocking him out unconscious.
Smile could only remember some words before falling completely unconscious, "I could've handled him Gerald, don't try to hurt my previous thing"
Everything went dark,
He opened his eyes, everything was still dark, he could not even see his own body.
He was not in a dream but he was in the basement which had shut its light, the proof was he could still feel the chain in his hands, which was locked.
Smile didn't want to try anything, he just wanted to rest, but he was scared, no matter who he was, a 14 year old human would definitely be scared of the dark.
However Smile wasn't scared much, he was thinking about his friends,
and the fact that Elena had threatened to kill them,
He couldn't digest it, he just wanted to live a normal life, with his friends, and get a decent job for him to feed himself.
Well he remembered some days ago he, did wish his life to be interesting as he was leading it a really boring way,
Well here it is
He whispered to himself, "Be careful what you wish for"
He smiled one time before closing his eyes
And he fell asleep.....
