They drew up a plan consisting of 25 rooms forming a 5*5 square and they numbered each room following the shape of a snail shell.(room 1 ,the room where they vote ,being in the middle )
Each room was connected to the adjacent rooms by long corridors. The rooms were often simple, and their purpose was easily understood. They were currently in room 1, which was a meeting room with a table and 13 chairs for voting. The corridors were long and zigzagged because the rooms weren't perfectly aligned as shown on the plan. Furthermore, they had only visited rooms 1, 2, 9, 10, 11, and 25, but based on the number of doors in each room, Shin was able to deduce the general shape of the building, even if it remained a supposition... (4 doors meaning in the middle, 3 doors equivalent to being on one side, 2 doors in a corner, and there were no rooms with only one door).
