Bang! Bang!
BOOOOM!
The Heaven-Sundering Cannons erupted violently, unleashing several enormous projectiles toward Sol. Their trajectories illuminated the night sky before converging upon the Prince of Pride.
The resulting explosions swallowed his figure. However, the artillery commanders barely had time to celebrate before their expressions changed.
The explosions had occurred several inches away from Sol's body.
An invisible force had prevented the projectiles from reaching him, forcing their destructive energy to detonate prematurely. Even the Devil Ballista bolts launched from several directions melted before they could approach him, their metallic bodies turning into molten droplets beneath the oppressive heat radiating from his transformed physique.
Sol remained suspended in the air. Not a single scratch could be seen on his body.
The artillery units fell silent.
