Chapter 108 - Chapter 108: Path to Vampire Godhood & Lucky Domino Takes the Serum

"You are correct. We are immortal creatures, but we are not truly unkillable."

The Master spoke coldly.

Count Dracula asked, "How can I defeat him?"

"Why do you want to defeat him?" The Master asked curiously.

"He makes me hate him. I don't need a reason. I just want to kill him," Dracula said coldly.

He had existed for a thousand years, mostly sealed by the Church. But his bloodline was scattered everywhere. Sometimes, through dreams, he could touch the world.

"I cannot see his limit. But if you can consume the blood of an Angel, perhaps your power can advance further. Then, you might be able to contend with this human."

The Master hesitated for a moment before speaking.

He poured a glass of "red wine" and handed it to Dracula.

Dracula drank it in one gulp, his face filled with obsession.

"This blood contains powerful energy. It intoxicates me. It even restores my peak strength rapidly."

The Vampire King looked at the Master with crazed eyes.

"This is Mutant blood. How can ordinary blood compare to the blood of the Homo Superior? I think you know what to do. Our power comes from blood. It is a magical curse, and God's curse."

The Master recalled memories from eons ago.

"Your Eminence, you give me hope to strive again."

Dracula smiled brilliantly.

"But my advice to you: We have long lives. Why rush for immediate revenge? Time is our greatest advantage."

The Master's figure faded into the shadows.

Dracula clenched his fist.

His only son died at Vincent Hall's hands.

His son had finally accepted him as a father.

The Church used his child against him for centuries, but Dracula enjoyed the process because he wasn't alone. His son bringing the Blood Coffin back to the Vlad Family symbolized the beginning of acceptance. Even if God abandoned his son, Dracula could save him, keep him in the mortal world as a companion.

But the Ice Demon destroyed the Vlad Family.

The remnants of the Vlad Family had backed the attack on Oscorp.

But the Ice Demon's power exceeded the imagination of the legendary vampire lord.

No wonder he dared to challenge God. Perhaps to the Ice Demon, God was just a powerful monster.

"I need a Vampire Legion belonging to the Vlad Family."

Dracula's gaze hardened.

As the Master said, their advantage was time.

The Ice Demon was human. Even if powerful, he would age.

But the war had begun.

He needed an undead army to charge for him, to hunt delicious blood for him.

Absorb mutant blood. Absorb the blood of the strong. Become the Blood God of Earth.

Only with absolute power could he summon clouds to blot out the sun and make the stars fall.

Once a general, he knew how to leverage advantages when weak.

It was a process of cultivation.

The Ice Demon would die eventually. Just as stars eventually fade.

Oscorp Office. Morning.

Vincent woke up covered in a blanket.

Agent Hill had left. Back to D.C.

But they talked for a long time.

Hill's wish was simple: protect ordinary people. As for the wicked, whether they deserved to exist wasn't her concern. She didn't care who Vincent killed, as long as he didn't kill innocents or lose himself in power.

Stats Check:

Wealth: 98 Billion (Daily increase ~500M).Desire Points: 833.5 Million (+200M from the massacre).Abilities: All Tier 3+ / Peak+. Super Brain (Peak+).

His wealth was nearing 100 Billion. But wealth was just a number unless used for upgrades.

Desire Points were the real currency.

Hill's visit acted as psychological counseling. She was incredibly smart and understood him almost as well as Raven.

Raven pushed the door open.

"You look spirited, Boss."

Raven smiled.

"Attended a nice party. Met many friends."

Vincent smiled back. Raven knew exactly what happened at the Empire State Building.

"The internal spies have been cleared. They were Hydra. To recycle their value, I sent them to the Life Foundation labs," Raven reported.

Vincent sat on the sofa, spacing out.

His mind touched the spies remotely. He disliked invading messy minds—some were like garbage dumps, disgusting. Invading them stained his psyche.

Vincent's desires were strong. Unlike Professor X, whose mental state was selfless, Vincent was an egoist. That was his advantage as a Psychic Sovereign—he controlled his will 100%.

"Those spies have trackers. They aren't worthy of being lab rats. Be generous. Send those Hydra bugs to see God."

Vincent scanned their memories. Not much useful info. But he found the trackers.

"Sorry, Vincent. I was too soft," Raven apologized.

"No, Raven. I only found their plot through my powers."

Vincent stood up and hugged her. He felt her stress.

"Let Connors handle the political and business banquets. He has enough power to protect himself now. Let him earn his keep."

"I know managing Oscorp is stressful. I want you to be happy here."

Vincent's words warmed Raven's heart.

"I understand. Sandi has been helping a lot. I plan to make her my assistant. Defense can be left to Domino and Inez."

Raven relaxed.

"Good. They are elites. We pay them high salaries; we need to extract value from them."

Raven rolled her eyes. "Unscrupulous boss. Domino and Inez would be heartbroken to hear that."

"Domino will accept it. Inez will put a gun to my head."

Vincent winked.

"By the way, bad news. Erik escaped prison."

Vincent laughed. "If he didn't escape, he wouldn't be Magneto."

Was it strange? No. Many mutants would die to free their leader.

"Charles is dead. His spirit survives, but he won't return soon. I can't help him. The X-Men have lost their leader. Storm and Wolverine aren't true leaders. So Erik will cause trouble again."

"He contacted me. Wanted me back. I told him clearly: I serve you. Body and soul."

Raven looked at him with a hint of resentment.

Vincent kissed her deeply.

"When this clears up, I authorize a vacation for you."

Raven smiled. "Yes, Master."

Vincent slapped her ass lightly.

She rolled her eyes and left. She disliked the smell in the office.

Same-sex repulsion. She knew Hill had been there.

Columbia University.

Gwen Stacy was rushing to class.

She slept through the night. Missed the hero gathering.

She was disappointed. She contacted a female hero friend, but got no reply.

"Late! Late!"

She wanted to swing as Ghost-Spider, but there were too many people. She had to live here for four years.

"I wonder how the meeting against the Ice Demon went? Hmph. If Vincent knew I infiltrated the 'Crusade' against him, he'd be grateful."

Gwen knew Vincent was the Ice Demon. He told her.

He promised not to hurt innocents.

Yesterday, she knew about the beam that killed thousands in New York. Vincent called her, explained it was self-defense against assassins, and told her to be careful.

When someone invited her to the meeting, she told Vincent immediately.

He just told her to focus on studying and ignore it. Then she fell asleep mysteriously.

"That jerk definitely drugged me or used magic," Gwen thought viciously.

But she focused on class.

Oscorp Lab.

"Is it really safe?"

Domino held Vincent's hand, nervous.

"Relax. No problems."

Domino was a mutant, but her power was luck-based, not physical. It was subtle. Was she even a mutant? Or just a cosmic glitch?

"I believe you."

Vincent operated the machine personally.

Using telekinesis, he injected the serum slowly.

The Super Soldier Serum unlocked genetic potential.

Domino grimaced in pain as her genes tore and reformed. Massive energy surged through her. Cells divided rapidly, creating a new human baseline.

After a while.

The pod opened.

A perfect body appeared.

Dark skin glowing like a gemstone.

Domino stepped out, flexing her limbs. She felt the power.

"Success!"

She threw herself into Vincent's arms.

"Alright, put some clothes on."

Vincent smiled.

Domino blushed but posed provocatively while dressing.

Vincent wasn't in the mood. After Jessica and Hill, he wasn't in "Sage Mode," but he wasn't easily seduced either.

Sandi and Inez walked in.

"Domino! Congrats! From now on, you're Captain America! Ask Otto to make you a star-spangled shield. You'll be the hottest hero in the US," Sandi teased.

"Totally. If you meet the real Cap, you can duel. Winner keeps the title," Inez agreed.

Domino's eyes lit up, then she shook her head.

"I'm Lucky Domino. Captain America is a heavy job. Not for everyone."

"I don't like you dressed as Cap," Vincent said decisively.

"See? The playboy Boss doesn't like the uniform. I have to refuse," Domino shrugged.

But her clothes had shrunk. Her figure was even more explosive.

"Girls, I think we need to go shopping!"

"Yes!" Inez shouted first.

"Agreed. Fifth Avenue weather," Sandi grabbed Domino's hand.

Three pairs of eyes looked at Vincent.

Vincent sighed helplessly.

He took out a black card and handed it to Sandi.

"Thanks Boss! Bye Boss!"

The three women left, giggling.
