Chapter 8 - Chapter 8 — When Unknown Compliments Turn into Encouragement!

Anaya uploaded her first story.

That's it.

No announcement,

No noise.

Just pressed the "Publish" button...

And put the phone aside.

She couldn't sleep that night.

Every once in a while she would unlock the screen—

Zero views.

Zero comments.

Slowly her heart began to feel heavy.

"Maybe I'm giving myself wrong expectations..."

She closed the phone and looked towards the ceiling.

The stars were shining.

And for the first time, Anaya realized—

a dream doesn't come just by writing,

A dream also demands waiting.

In the morning, her eyes opened to her mother's voice.

"Son, will the tea get cold?"

Anaya had just sat up when her phone vibrated.

A notification.

Her heart started pounding.

She rubbed her eyes and looked at the screen.

"Nice writing. Your words feel real. Keep going."

That was just a comment.

Not a long review,

Not a high praise.

But for Anaya...

It was the most precious sentence in the world.

She smiled to herself.

Tears welled up in her eyes.

These tears weren't from pain.

They were from the fact that—

Somewhere, someone had been listening to her voice.

She was standing near the window on the bus to college.

The city was the same.

The people were the same.

But something had changed inside Anaya.

She took out her diary and wrote:

"Today, a stranger felt what I wrote."

She drew a small smile underneath.

She met Riya in the library.

"What happened? You seem quiet today," Riya said.

Anaya passed the phone forward.

Riya read the comment and smiled.

"See? It's a start."

"Just one comment," Anaya said softly.

Riya looked at her and said, "Every big journey begins with a small smile."

This thought stuck in Anaya's heart.

When she came home in the evening, she told her mother.

Mother didn't fully understand,

but she could tell that her daughter was happy.

She simply said:

"That's good, son!... Hard work pays off slowly."

Father looked at her silently,

then said:

"Keep writing, son!"

Just two words.

But for Anaya, they were approval.

That night, Anaya started writing a new chapter.

This time, her hands weren't shaking.

The words were coming quickly.

She was writing about a girl.

who gets tired every day,

but doesn't give up.

Before closing her laptop, she said to herself:

"I only got one comment today...

I might get two tomorrow...

But I won't stop."

But life doesn't just praise.

The next morning, her mother said:

"Father's medicine is over... He'll have to see a doctor."

She picked up her bag and said, "Okay, Mom. I'll get it after lecture today."

That moment, she realized—

dreams and responsibility go hand in hand.

And perhaps...

this balance is going to become her true strength.

That night, she wrote in her diary:

"Today, a stranger recognized me as a writer...

and my family recognized me as a daughter."

And she decided—

Even if the world responds slowly,

Even if the path is difficult—

"She will write.

She will manage.

And she will move forward."

But he didn't know this...

The next day holds a new test for him...

To be continued... in the next chapter.
