Chapter 6 - Chapter 6 —The first promise made to oneself !

The morning light was slowly spreading over the room's walls.

Anaya's eyes opened... but her heart didn't.

Because she hadn't slept the whole night, she was very tired.

Her father 's health is deteriorating.

The internship is ending.

And her paternal aunt nags about marriage.

Three things.

Three burdens.

And everything fell on her face all at once.

She quietly got up and went to the bathroom.

She standing in front of the mirror.

The face was the same...

But the sparkle in her eyes was gone, as it used to be.

She was thinking to herself, "Was that all I had ever dreamed of?"

She asked herself a question.

She remembered the words written in her diary: "One day, people will read my story."

Today, that story itself felt like a burden to her.

Her mother was making tea in the kitchen.

Anaya went over to her and quietly picked up the cup.

The two sat there speechless for a while.

Then her mother said softly.

Son, don't take the wedding talk yesterday to heart.

Anaya said nothing.

She just kept looking at the tea.

Her mother's voice became a little heavier.

"I know it's your dream...But you're also looking at the state of the house.

Anaya looked at her mother for the first time.

There was helplessness in her eyes.

No anger.

No force.

Just tiredness.

In that moment, Anaya understood—

No one is anyone's enemy here.

Everyone is fighting their own battles.

Anaya stood on the balcony, watching the people coming and going.

Everyone was busy with their own lives.

No one knew what was going on inside this girl.

Her father was lying on the bed.

Weakness was clearly visible on his face.

Anaya went and sat next to him.

Her father said with a slight smile, "Son...Don't worry. Everything will be fine.

The one who is in pain himself...

It is also giving courage to others.

Anaya went to her room.

Took out her diary.

She took the pen in her hand.

But no words came out.

Today, I didn't feel like writing.

Today, I was just feeling off.

She sat on the bed and started thinking.

The girl who was busy with deadlines and assignments until yesterday,

Is today afraid of the future?

She doesn't have a job.

Dad is sick.

There's talk of marriage.

And Dream?

Dream is sitting quietly in a corner.

In the evening, she received a message from her college friend Neha:

Is everything alright? You didn't come to class yesterday.

Anaya didn't reply.

What did you write?

She is torn between her dreams and responsibilities.

Sometimes we get so tired that it's hard to even explain.

At night, her mother came to her room.

She quietly sat down beside her.

Then she said.

Anaya... You're strong. I know.

Anaya said softly, "Mom... if I become a writer...""Will you still be happy?"

Her mother placed her hand on her head...

Son... we're happy if you're happy.I just feel scared... The world is so harsh.

Tears welled up in Anaya's eyes.

These weren't tears of weakness.

These were tears that lighten the heart.

That night, Anaya opened her diary.

This time, to write.

"Dear Diary,

Today, life has taught me to remain silent.

But no matter how difficult it is, I won't give up.

Maybe the path isn't clear yet...

But I know how to walk.

If I fall today,

I'll have to pick myself up tomorrow.

Becoming a writer isn't just a dream...

It's my identity.

And I won't give up my identity so easily.

She took a deep breath as she closed her diary.

The next day was different.

The pain was the same.

The problems were the same.

But something had changed inside her.

She understood—

If the story were mine, I would have to write it.

Whether through tears or through hard work.

But I would have to write it.

She understood—no matter how many challenges I faced, I would fulfill my dream.

After all! How many more difficulties would Anaya face?, And

What? Anaya would face every challenge to achieve her dream. She will face it head-on.
