Flint swallowed nervously, staring at the red lips that were almost touching his own. His palms rested on the bed trembling, his body still prone in front of his friend. The slow movement of those lips made him lose his mind even more. Their relationship up until now had been limited to friendship and neighbors; it was impossible for them to kiss when they weren't already in love.
"Alfonso…"
His eyes widened when his friend mentioned his assistant's name. "What? Alfonso?"
Still in a semi-conscious state, Ellen laughed out loud while turning her body around nimbly. "He's the best CEO. Thank you for accepting me, Alfonso. I love him."
The flames of jealousy burned within him. The next morning, he wanted to make sure his assistant didn't overreact in front of the actress. His gaze immediately sharpened as he stared at his friend, who continued to rave about the CEO's assistant having an angelic heart and wanting to accept her no matter what.
