Flint felt his body grow restless again as his best friend kept bringing up Alfonso. He was clearly the CEO of Fantasia Star Studio. How could his best friend be so insensitive to such a small thing? Should he punish her when she got home? Why did this dinner, which had begun to feel sweet, start with such a nonsensical conversation? Should he just confess now?
"Ellen–"
"I understand the real CEO probably wouldn't reveal himself openly to maintain his professionalism. But, I really want to thank him for accepting me for who I am. Even though I have no experience in game scriptwriting, he was very enthusiastic about taking me on from the start."
Flint smiled awkwardly after hearing his friend's direct thanks. He spontaneously handed him some of the barbecue beef he had cut up.
"I'm glad to hear that."
Ellen furrowed her brows. "But, if I really liked his assistant because he was so friendly, would the CEO be angry? After all, he was the one who saved me."
