Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Complete Form Ōtsutsuki Kaguya

Chapter 8: Complete Form Ōtsutsuki Kaguya

After a fierce struggle, the samurai from the Land of That finally forced their way to Kaguya's front.

It was also the first time Kaguya had ever witnessed the malice mortals could display.

Those twisted faces, those burning gazes overflowing with covetous desire, made her feel sick to her core.

So she raised her hand.

Chakra surged through her body, then burst outward. Several men in front of her were blasted away as if struck by an invisible hammer.

As a member of the Ōtsutsuki Clan, even without consuming a chakra fruit, her strength was still far above that of mortals. Ordinary so called samurai were not even close to being her match.

Unfortunately, there were simply too many of them. Worse still, hidden among the crowd were Shrine Maidens and sorcerers who could use senjutsu, borrowing power from demons.

Compared to ordinary mortals, their methods could actually affect her.

"A bunch of ants!"

Veins stood out on Kaguya's forehead. Her azure Byakugan flared to life as she entered a true combat state.

She stepped forward.

One palm.

Several people dropped instantly.

But just as she lifted her hand to strike again, a sharp pain exploded from her abdomen and spread through her entire body.

The fetus moved.

Nurturing life was an enormous burden for any living being.

Even for an extraterrestrial Ōtsutsuki, it was the same.

While pregnant, Kaguya could not draw out her usual strength.

Pain washed over her in waves. Gritting her teeth, she forced back the samurai pressing in from behind, then turned and moved quickly into the distance.

Behind her, the samurai of the Land of That refused to let up, pursuing relentlessly.

In only a short time, Kaguya was surrounded.

"Kaguya, come with me."

A middle aged man rode out from the crowd.

Seated atop his horse, he looked down at her, heat and greed undisguised in his eyes.

"Such beauty. No wonder the Daimyo of the Land of Ancestors dotes on you so much."

"Come with me to the Land of That and serve His Lordship the Daimyo. That will be your supreme honor."

"Where is Yuu?"

Facing the stares of everyone around her, Kaguya's expression barely changed. She simply locked her eyes on the samurai in front of her.

"What did you do to him?"

In her memory, Yuu was always by her side. She had never seen these native ants dare to be so disrespectful.

With something this sudden happening, unease rose in her chest. She needed to know where her husband was.

"Yuu?"

The samurai blinked in confusion at the name, then quickly understood.

"You mean the Daimyo of the Land of Ancestors, right?"

"He's already dead."

"Give up."

He tried to crush her resolve with his words, hoping she would stop resisting on her own.

This place was not far from the royal capital of the Land of Ancestors. Even in the middle of the night, the Daimyo of the Land of Ancestors would likely respond quickly.

It would not matter if the Daimyo of the Land of Ancestors found out, but if that happened, the mission their own Daimyo had entrusted to them might fail.

To him, that would be an unforgivable dereliction of duty.

What he did not know was that these very words were the start of his funeral song.

"Yuu is dead?"

The indifferent calm on Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's face froze.

In that instant, images of Yuu flooded her mind.

Years together. Quiet moments. His presence that never left her side.

As her husband, he had long since become the most important person in Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's heart.

And now, he was dead.

Dead at the hands of these ants.

"You deserve to die!"

Rage appeared on Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's face, tearing through her usual stillness.

The next moment, without the slightest hesitation, she took out a fruit.

In her hand, the chakra fruit bloomed with a mysterious radiance. Its aura was so enchanting it instinctively drew everyone's gaze.

Facing the fruit she had once sealed away, Kaguya no longer held back.

She swallowed it in a single gulp.

Then, change came.

Under the watchful eyes of everyone present, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya's body began to transform.

Her hair lengthened, flowing as her presence turned terrifying.

Violent chakra erupted within her, gradually reshaping her very form.

A pair of white horns emerged from the top of her head.

At the center of her forehead, a Rinne Sharingan opened, carrying an inexplicable, chilling mystery.

The complete form of Ōtsutsuki Kaguya had appeared.

At that moment, her life itself seemed to sublimate, and the Ōtsutsuki bloodline within her completed its leap.

"A monster…"

A dreadful aura spilled from Ōtsutsuki Kaguya. The pressure from that horrific chakra alone made it impossible for the surrounding samurai to take even a single step forward.

Even the Shrine Maidens and sorcerers, who possessed fragments of senjutsu and demonic power, were no exception. All of them were stunned by what they were witnessing.

The next instant, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya moved.

She stepped forward and gently reached out her hand.

Chakra gathered, vast and dense, like a storm forming in her palm.

Then she struck.

Countless palm shadows exploded outward in an instant. A crushing force, saturated with chakra, slammed down like the heavens themselves.

Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack!

Bang!

Everything in its path was annihilated.

Bodies were torn apart, reduced to mangled flesh that burst on the spot.

Shattered remains scattered across the ground, painting the area in blood.

The horrific scene hit the survivors like a hammer to the soul.

"No… no!"

The leading middle aged samurai stared at the nightmare before him, trembling from head to toe.

"She isn't a goddess. She's a demon wearing human skin!"

"How can a demon like this exist in the world?!"

Only now did they understand what kind of mistake they had made.

In a sense, the Ōtsutsuki Kaguya standing before them was not a goddess at all.

She was a demon in human skin.

Ordinary people should have fled at the first hint of her existence. Yet they had dared to try and capture her, to present her to the Daimyo of the Land of That.

They were truly courting death.

Ahead, Ōtsutsuki Kaguya said nothing.

Strictly speaking, she was not even skilled in combat. In the past, there had been few times she ever needed to fight personally.

But it did not matter.

With the support of her vast chakra, even a casual strike could unleash terrifying power.

Before the Eighty Gods Vacuum Attack, all were nothing but ants.

In only a short time, the thick stench of blood rose into the air, and the surroundings became a hellscape.

Not far away.

Minamikawa Yuu rode hard and soon approached the area.

"Your Highness, we have found Madam"

The attendant in front spoke, but his expression was complicated, filled with deep fear.

"But she seems… different from the Madam we know."

"The elders say the Madam looks like she's been possessed by an evil spirit."

"Possessed by an evil spirit?"

Yuu froze, his expression shifting as realization struck.

Without hesitation, he spurred his horse faster, charging toward where Kaguya was.
