Chapter 34 - CHAPTER THIRTY FOUR

The space was created by Yu Weiwei's Dimension Authority, and it was constant. Yu Weiwei had helped Xiao Bai store some daily necessities and food inside it. There were also some food and snacks that Xiao Bai himself had secretly sneaked in.

The handsome middle-aged man was speechless when he saw this.

For a moment, he simply stared at the little boy who had been carrying around an entire collection of food inside the space as though it were the most normal thing in the world.

Before he could comment, one of the scientists suddenly exclaimed and rushed over to the man.

"Sir, sir! We have to bring Test Subject 002 here. With that Dimension Authority, we could do a lot. We might even be able to help Lord Long Yu!" the scientist said excitedly, his eyes shining with greed and anticipation.

Hearing this, the middle-aged man paused for a moment before asking,

"Paul, how is the negotiation going?"

There was a hint of excitement leaking through his voice.

"Sir, we currently can't bring Test Subject 002 here. He's currently with that Caspian, and that'll be difficult. Unless Test Subject 002 leaves his side, and I don't think that'll be happening anytime soon if we don't return his cousin to him."

The old man named Paul answered with a troubled expression.

Yu Weiwei had cloned himself, his clone was currently with Caspian, so they had no idea the test subject they were looking for was currently at the vicinity of their laboratory.

"Then speed up the process. Make sure the clone learns Lin Zhile's behaviour and personality within a week before sending him."

The clone they were talking about was Xiao Bai's clone.

The middle-aged man frowned slightly.

"And you don't have to worry about that little guy. He will come out sooner or later. After all, no living creature can resist a toilet break."

The middle-aged man added this casually before turning around and leaving.

Then he suddenly stopped.

"Oh, and make sure you keep a watch on those three dogs of the Empire."

Paul immediately understood who the three dogs were.

After all, almost all of their plans and laboratories within the Empire had been thwarted or destroyed by the three Guardian AIs of the Empire. Those three hated them to such an extent that, if they were ever found, they would grant them an immediate death without hesitation.

"We're on it, sir."

Xiao Baobao, who had been listening to everything, snorted.

"Dogs?! You'd better live well until tomorrow, Anton."

His eyes narrowed dangerously as he stared at the departing middle-aged man.

"Just leave him be. Investigate their origin. By tomorrow, they will cease to live."

Louise's voice was cold, clearly offended by the man's words.

"Okay."

Xiao Baobao snorted again.

The next day, Yu Weiwei, Ryan, and the leader of the Imperial Guards were finally able to enter the underground laboratory.

Ryan and Yu Weiwei were both using invisibility talismans, while the Imperial Guard leader, Sione, was dressed as one of the laboratory's guards.

He had stolen the identity of a low-ranking guard and used his identity to enter the facility.

The rest of the Imperial Guards had already surrounded the laboratory entrance stealthily. They were waiting for the signal before making their move.

As they went deeper into the laboratory, Yu Weiwei and Ryan's expressions gradually became uglier.

The deeper they went, the more disturbing everything became.

Most of the test subjects were humans, but there were also other races, the hives, star beasts, beasts.

And even races that Yu Weiwei couldn't immediately identify.

They were all being kept inside transparent containers or restrained with various types of chains and machines. Some were unconscious, while others were barely conscious, their eyes filled with fear and despair.

However, the most disgusting part of the laboratory was the pregnant living beings.

Some of the test subjects were pregnant, yet they had still been used for experiments. Their bodies had been modified so extensively that it was difficult to even determine what race they originally belonged to.

Most of these test subjects were no longer completely their original race. They had been forcibly fused with different parts of different creatures.

Yu Weiwei's hands slowly clenched.

His expression remained calm, but the temperature around him seemed to drop.

He had seen many things throughout his countless lives.

But there were still some things that disgusted him no matter how many years he lived.

This was one of them.

Once they reached the inner part of the laboratory, they couldn't go any further.

The stolen identity didn't have access to the innermost section.

Sione looked at the sealed entrance before turning his head slightly.

Ryan's voice immediately sounded in his mind.

"Make your move."

Sione didn't hesitate.

The moment he received the order, he activated the signal.

The Imperial Guards who had been waiting outside immediately moved.

The laboratory entrance was breached in an instant.

"Anyone who resists or is deemed dangerous should be eliminated on the spot," Ryan instructed coldly. "The test subjects are not to be harmed. Send all of them to the Imperial Hospital. Let the medical teams determine whether they can recover or be healed."

"Yes, sir!"

The Imperial Guards immediately spread throughout the laboratory.

At the same time, Yu Weiwei raised his hand.

His Dimension Authority began to spread.

Invisible spatial fluctuations surrounded the inner laboratory, slowly forming an enormous enclosure.

Once the enclosure was completed, nothing inside would be able to escape through conventional means.

Yu Weiwei concentrated completely on the task.

He didn't care about the alarms that had already begun ringing throughout the laboratory.

However, just as the enclosure was halfway completed, the laboratory's alarm suddenly changed.

A sharp warning sounded throughout the entire underground facility.

Red lights flashed continuously.

"Unauthorized intrusion detected!"

"Security breach!"

"Contain all test subjects!"

Yu Weiwei's expression remained unchanged.

He continued enclosing the space.

By the time the spatial enclosure was completely formed, three men had managed to escape.

Yu Weiwei stared at the empty passageway where they had disappeared, his brows furrowing slightly.

"Don't worry, Weiwei. Kiri and her squad are already after them."

Xiao Baobao's voice came through the communication channel when he noticed Yu Weiwei's frustrated expression.

"If Anton and his crew didn't escape, then something would be very wrong. That guy is as slippery as an eel."

Louise commented.

At first, Yu Weiwei didn't understand who Kiri and Anton were.

Then, after going through his memories, it suddenly clicked.

His face twitched slightly.

He didn't say anything.

However, his lowered eyes were filled with murderous intent.

"Oh, okay."

Yu Weiwei answered quietly.

He then reached up and tapped the black serpent wrapped around his wrist.

The black serpent disappeared without a trace.

Ryan seemed to notice something.

His eyes briefly moved toward Yu Weiwei's wrist, but he couldn't pinpoint exactly what had happened, because a black shadow still reside there.

Instead, he continued instructing the Imperial Guards who had gathered around the laboratory.

Meanwhile, Xiao Bai, who had been sleeping peacefully, suddenly opened his eyes.

He had felt it.

His father's emotions.

It was a strong emotion.

One that Xiao Bai had never felt from Yu Weiwei before.

An intense hatred.

Xiao Bai slowly sat up.

He looked down at the chains around his arms.

The seal restricting his power had also loosened considerably.

He grabbed one of the chains and pulled.

Crack!

The chain broke apart effortlessly.

The reason Xiao Bai had been caught in the first place was because he had wanted to take a toilet break.

Unfortunately, the scientists had taken advantage of that opportunity and restrained him, using special chains and seals to suppress his protective shield.

Now that the seal had weakened, those restraints were nothing to him.

Xiao Bai casually cut off the remaining chains and jumped down.

He immediately began heading toward his father's direction.

However, the road was difficult to walk through.

The laboratory had descended into complete chaos.

The scientists who had remained behind were panicking. Some were collapsing in fear, while others were desperately trying to escape.

There were even some who chose to commit suicide rather than be captured.

Some had considered using Xiao Bai or the remaining test subjects as hostages.

Unfortunately for them, Xiao Baobao didn't give them the opportunity.

Anyone who attempted to approach the test subjects was dealt with immediately.

Xiao Bai continued walking.

His little clothes were stained with blood.

He looked down at the blood on his clothes and frowned deeply in disgust.

Xiao Baobao, who had been watching over him, was surprised by this scene.

Any normal three-year-old child would have burst into tears or completely collapsed after witnessing something like this.

Most children at that age didn't even properly understand the concept of death.

Yet Xiao Bai didn't cry.

There was no fear in his eyes, only disgust.

For a moment, Xiao Baobao was silent.

Then he remembered that Xiao Bai was a planetary core and not a real three-year-old child.
