I saw Healer Felix clenched his fist at Caius's words, and I scowled at Caius.
"No, it's most likely because I haven't learnt how to properly transmit my thoughts," I said quickly, grabbing Healer Felix's arm. "Sorry, I'll do better next time."
"It's alright, I'm not angry at you. You just need more practice," Healer Felix replied, shooting me an indulgent look before rolling his eyes at Caius. "It's true that fated mates would find it easier to mindlink with each other's thoughts, but all werewolves should also communicate with fellow pack members. Your world should be bigger than your fated mate," Healer Felix said, and there was no disguising the judgmental expression he shot Caius as he continued to speak.
