I didn't know how I managed to find Healer Felix's house through the haze of my anger.
Fellow pack wolves met my eyes and hastily got out of my way, as though I was an enraged bull ready to trample them under my feet without mercy. Inside me, Atlas raged like a summer storm, ready to burst through my mortal skin to rip through Healer Felix's intestines.
I was so tempted to let him. But I forced myself to calm down. It was a crime to strike a healer, and what's more, Healer Felix was a huge asset to Ashbourne. If I had harmed him in any way, I wouldn't be able to explain it to my father, since he didn't know Iris was my fated mate to begin with.
'He's having an affair with our mate,' Atlas howled. 'He invited her into his nest! You're going to let him carry on?!'
'I'm going to get an explanation,' I growled back in response, standing in front of the hardwood door of Healer Felix's residence. 'Iris wouldn't stay with a random man when she knows we're fated mates.'
