Chapter 41: Boundary Gate
The Yao Realm is a mysterious and dangerous world. Its existence originated from the opening of spatial rifts 500 years ago, when an unknown crack tore through the barrier of time and space and revealed another world to humanity.
That world was the Yao Realm, a domain completely different from the one humans were familiar with.
In that distant land, countless ferocious Vicious Beasts reside. They have bred for generations, adapting to and making use of the abundant Spiritual Qi resources there.

When the spatial rifts opened, Blue Star also displayed powerful self-healing capabilities. It attempted to close these rifts, but unfortunately, it only succeeded partially.
As a result, most rifts were sealed, but some passages still connected the 2 worlds, making the relationship between Blue Star and the Yao Realm complex and subtle.
Creatures from the Yao Realm began to infiltrate Blue Star, joining forces with local Mutated Beasts to wage a prolonged struggle against humanity.

In the early stages, humanity was caught completely off guard, and the Vicious Beasts held an overwhelming advantage. It was not until the appearance of the Space Supreme, after nearly 100 years of development, that the situation was finally reversed.
While Blue Star continued repairing itself, some rifts were closed, but others gradually stabilized, forming permanent teleportation passages on Blue Star.
Humans called these passages boundary gates.
Countless boundary gates exist across Blue Star, standing like flat planes in various locations.
Many cities were established near these boundary gates to remain vigilant against Vicious Beasts that might suddenly emerge.
After all, these creatures were never peaceful.
Powerful military forces are stationed near every boundary gate.
Yan City, however, does not have a boundary gate nearby.
This is a good thing, as the people living here do not need to worry about a powerful Vicious Beast suddenly appearing and destroying the entire city.
At the same time, it is also a bad thing.
Without a boundary gate, the people here cannot enter the Yao Realm to obtain rare and powerful resources. Their cultivation speed is much slower compared to cities near boundary gates, leaving Yan City unable to grow beyond a small city.

The Yao Realm is far more dangerous than the Wilderness.

These Vicious Beasts are far more brutal and powerful than Mutated Beasts.
Mutated Beasts are originally Earth creatures that changed after being nourished by Spiritual Qi. Although they have stabilized, they have only evolved for 500 years.
In contrast, the Vicious Beasts of the Yao Realm have bred for countless generations, with histories far beyond imagination.

At present, Blue Star faces threats from Mutated Beasts and Vicious Beasts internally, while the Yao Realm watches greedily from beyond.
These dangers have pushed Blue Star into an unprecedented crisis, forcing humanity to confront threats on all fronts.

Vicious Beasts and Mutated Beasts are collectively referred to as Yao Beasts.
Their Realms are divided into Divine Rank, SSS, SS, S, A, B, C, D, E, and F.
Among them, SS-rank is also known as Beast King, SSS-rank as Beast Emperor, and Divine Rank as Beast God.
Each rank is further divided into low, mid, and high grades.
Spirit Medicines are likewise classified according to these Realms.
