When she opened her eyes again, Jane Sterling looked at the somewhat unfamiliar villa before her. She was dazed for a moment, then became wary.
She couldn't help but size up Drew Thorne, who stood before her.
"Where is this? Didn't you say we were going to get something to eat?"
Drew Thorne pulled Jane Sterling out of the taxi. Seeing her wide, wary eyes, he couldn't help but smile.
"Relax. It's not like I'm going to sell you or something."
As he spoke, the villa's main gate opened automatically.
Drew Thorne walked up and lightly pressed the doorbell. A short while later, a middle-aged woman dressed in long linen clothes opened the door.
"Drew Thorne, you're back. Your grandfather has been waiting for you for a long time. Hurry inside and eat."
As she spoke, she also offered a friendly smile to Jane Sterling, who was standing behind Drew Thorne.
