After some back-and-forth with Jiao Group Leader, Yuan Si led her team out on another mission.
The day they departed was marked by a torrential downpour, an omen that their mission would be anything but peaceful.
On the thirteenth day of the mission, they were eating dinner at their temporary camp. Earlier that day, they had encountered a leopard on patrol—the largest wild animal they had seen in their three expeditions into the forest.
Yuan Si wanted her comrades to hone their skills, so instead of jumping in right away, she stood to the side to watch over them.
On their previous mission, Yuan Si had already begun deliberately training everyone's wilderness survival abilities. Hunting was one part of that training, along with fostering teamwork.
