Renee Jennings and Sawyer went to a small park together.
After they showed their IDs, the park manager opened the gate to let them in.
"Sawyer, wait for me here," Renee Jennings said softly.
Sawyer nodded. "Okay, be careful. Call me if anything happens."
"Okay." Renee Jennings stepped inside and called out, "Kaiser, are you here?"
She scanned the ground but didn't see any sign of Kaiser. Her gaze shifted upward, landing on a tree.
"Snake is here." Kaiser's body was coiled in an S-shape around a branch, looking down at her. Its neck and head were relaxed.
It was quite relaxed, not in an attack posture.
Renee Jennings's lips curved slightly. "Are you satisfied with the food I prepared for you?"
Kaiser replied, "Satisfied, thank you. Have you found those humans for Snake?"
"I have."
"Take Snake to them."
Kaiser slithered down from the tree and glided in front of Renee Jennings.
