Renee Jennings tilted her head and looked at Sawyer. "It really is a Kaiser."
"Then why didn't he go to the hospital for emergency treatment right away?" Sawyer found it strange. "He's an adult. He should know what a Kaiser is, right?"
"It is strange." Renee's slender brows furrowed slightly as she looked at the crows again. "Did you see what happened?"
"What do you mean?" a crow asked, confused.
Renee: "I mean, did you see that snake bite the man?"
"Yes!" said a crow. "We saw it very clearly!"
Renee's eyes lit up. "Then can you tell me what happened?"
"Of course!" the crow agreed readily. "When that Kaiser showed up, all the rats and cockroaches in the room got scared and ran away."
"So that's what happened." Renee nodded. "No wonder I couldn't find any animals in the house."
"Yep!" the crow said. "Actually, we were a little scared too, but the snake didn't attack us, so we didn't leave."
Renee: "So what did you see? Can you give me the details?"
