The director glanced at her phone, then looked up at Diana Jennings and asked with a smile, "Zane's Mom, is there something I can help you with?"
"Yes," Diana Jennings said with a serious expression. "Director, are you aware that Teacher Yardley has been privately accepting expensive gifts from parents?"
The smile on the director's face froze for a moment. Then, she asked in surprise, "Zane's Mom, you're making quite a claim. Do you have any evidence?"
"Teacher Yardley admitted it herself just now," Diana Jennings said. "She accepted jewelry from Zoe Archer's family."
The director subconsciously reached up to adjust the arm of her glasses and chuckled. "Zane's Mom, the kindergarten has a strict policy forbidding teachers from accepting gifts from parents. We welcome everyone to supervise and report any violations. However, a report requires details and evidence. We will, of course, conduct a fair investigation."
