Ryan stared intently at the shadow outside the utility room door.
Beneath the crack of the door, the wisps of seeping Magic Power radiation were bone-chillingly cold, making Elsa's teeth chatter and letting out soft CLACK CLACK sounds.
"Don't make a sound," Ryan lowered his voice, speaking to the two people behind him.
He stood up and waved his hand to dismiss the Defense Array. The light extinguished, and the utility room returned to dimness. Ryan took a deep breath and violently pushed the door open.
Outside the door, two gray-robed Black Wizard Apprentices wore sinister smiles. They pinched pale ghostly flames in their hands, ready to enjoy a feast of sadistic slaughter. But when their Spiritual Power swept over Ryan and they realized he was actually an official First-level Wizard, the smiles on their faces instantly froze. They wondered how a First-level Wizard could be cowardly enough to hide in a place like this.
