Mia Grant woke up in the evening and came out of the bedroom, yawning.
Felix Sinclair was cooking.
He glanced over his shoulder at her. "Are you hungry? Dinner will be ready in a little while. If you are, have a snack to tide you over."
She had a lot of dessert left over from her takeout order that morning.
Mia Grant wasn't hungry yet, so she sat at the kitchen island and watched him cook.

Mia Grant suddenly felt a surge of emotion.
