Faye Vaughn's eyes glinted, and she chided, "Mr. Hawthorne, you have some nerve asking that. In the three years I was with you, besides eating and sleeping together, what did you ever do with me?"
Take her to karaoke?
That was next to impossible.
Wyatt Hawthorne had never truly cared for her, so naturally, he never bothered to learn about her interests or hobbies.
'After all this time, he probably still doesn't know I can change my voice to sound like several different people.'
'I could have had a great career as a voice actress.'
Faye Vaughn's thoughts drifted, but her tone was curious as she asked, "What's gotten into you tonight? You're acting strange."
Wyatt Hawthorne didn't answer, simply saying, "Send me your current address. I'm coming over."
Faye Vaughn let out a soft "Oh?" and chuckled lightly. "So, Mr. Hawthorne has needs tonight. I'm sorry, but I don't."
'I'm his patron now, after all.'
'There's no reason I should be at his beck and call.'
