Jun looked around the room, noting that there were over two dozen chairs.
Interesting, let's take the usual spot.
He walked further into the classroom, passing by a floating set of girls' clothes.
Oh…Floating clothes…wait. Floating clothes?
He backed up, not bothering to turn.
The clothes moved. "Oh hi! It must've freaked you out!"
Jun tilted his head as he slotted in Biological Blueprint. I always wondered what Toru looked like.
The clothes bobbed as she started talking faster and louder. "Hi, I'm Toru Hagakure! And I know it's weird but it's my quirk!"
Jun activated the quirk and caught a brief glimpse of the girl beneath the invisibility.
"Cute."
The floating clothes froze. "E-excuse me?"
Jun just shrugged. "You're cute." Then he slid into the seat behind her.
Toru turned around in her seat. "You can't even see me, so how do you know?"
"Cute is cute. You don't have to be visible for it."
Toru groaned, shoulders of her shirt hunching.
Jun activated Biological Blueprint again, seeing her with her face in her hands.
"Don't sweat it, Hagakure-chan. Just prove my words true, then it doesn't matter if you're visible."
Toru looked up. "I know I'm cute, but how do you know?"
Jun smiled. "Intuition. It activates with beautiful people."
Toru narrowed her eyes, pouting, which Jun found cute. "You're doing this on purpose."
Jun wiggled his fingers, keeping his smile. "Oh I am, but that doesn't mean you're not cute."
She huffed, turning back around facing forward.
Jun laughed, tapping her shoulder. "I'm Junya Mori. Just call me Jun."
She huffed again. "Nice to meet you, Jun."
The door slid closed, an older man clearing his throat. "No more talking, I will be handing out your exams. Any talking will be held against you."
Jun leaned back into his chair, waiting for the exam. The website said it would be an exam per subject. History, Math, Language Arts, Science, and Hero law.
Hero law makes sense given the school. I just hope I studied enough.
The examiner placed the paper in front of Jun, face down.
Jun waited until the examiner was done and returned to the front of the room. "Now, you have one hour to finish the test. The exam starts… now."
Jun flipped the paper. Ah, it's history.
The answers came easily, and Jun felt confident in his basic education. After all, he was reincarnated.
His past-life knowledge helped, but the huge gap in time and being raised in Japan left a lot of it feeling disconnected.
It was like knowing half of something, then the later half having no recollection. So he studied.
Before clones became available, Jun had to carve out time for the things he didn't understand.
Setting his pencil down, he started going over his answers.
The exams went by one after another. Math, Language Arts, Science, and finally Hero Law.
With each exam, Jun realized he was more confident than when he came in.
At the same time, something older kept nagging at him. Remembering things had felt easier than it should for a while now.
He didn't know why, but maybe it was a benefit of his reincarnation?
Shaking his head, he focused back on the examiner.
"Hero course students, if you still wish to proceed, head to auditorium one for orientation for your exam."
"Support course students, head to auditorium two."
Jun got up, moving towards the door. I'm about to meet the protagonist of the story…
He was so focused on his thoughts he didn't even notice Toru walking beside him.
"So you're in the hero course too?"
Jun blinked, shelving his thoughts as he looked at Toru. "Oh yeah."
He saw the slight smile on her face as she skipped ahead. "Well, I am too. Hope to see you in class, Jun!"
Jun chuckled, slotting out Biological Blueprint for one of his standard quirks.
Well, that's Toru. I knew she'd be cute since it was based on an anime. But wow…
Finding Auditorium One wasn't hard. It wasn't even a long walk.
Jun came in with the bulk of students, missing out on his friends until a certain pink girl waved him over. "Jun!!"
Jun took a step and noticed stares from the surrounding crowd. But there were distinctive stares he could feel.
Toga was sitting next to Mina… so was Jiro and Kirishima.
Off to the side, Toru had turned toward him.
He coughed, motioning Toru over as he walked to his friends.
As he sat down ready to introduce everyone, it was interrupted by someone.
"WELCOME ONE AND ALL TO MY LIVE SHOW!"
"EVERYBODY SAY HEEEEY!"
Jun winced slightly from the yelling, but the crowd remained deadly silent.
Unfazed, Present Mic continued. "I'VE GOT SHIVERS DOWN MY SPINE, TOO, LISTENERS!"
"ALL RIGHT, EXAMINEES… I'M GONNA GIVE YOU THE LOW-DOWN ON HOW THIS'LL GO DOWN! ARE YOU READY!?"
"YEAHH!!"
Despite the crowd being silent, Jun couldn't help but snicker at watching a scene that he only watched as a teenager on a screen.
Somewhere in front of Jun, he heard the fanboying of Deku along with Bakugo's sharp retort.
Present Mic continued the presentation at a high volume. Outlining the exam that Jun already knew.
Areas A-G… probably to split up people who'd obviously try to pair up.
Then a student in the front stood up. "Excuse Me, may I ask a question!?"
Oh, is that Iida?
"On the hand-out, there are clearly four types of villains listed!"
"Such an error would be the height of embarrassment for a top tier national academy of U.A's caliber!"
Iida continued his outburst before turning towards Deku with a glare about to speak.
Jun laughed, drawing attention away. "Yo dude? You're distracting the rest of the presentation. Sit down."
Iida changed his glare to Jun. "Excuse me?"
Jun leaned forward, not getting up. "You're the one interrupting the presentation. Let Present Mic talk, or yell in his case."
The crowd giggled as Iida bowed. "I apologize, I simply wanted to ask a question!"
Present Mic cleared his throat. "Thank you, Examinees! But I was just about to get that!"
Present Mic continued just as before, now explaining all the villain bots and explaining things like it was a real life video game.
Present Mic turned to the crowd one last time. "NOW LET'S MOVE TO MAIN EVENT!! PLUS ULTRA!!"
"AND MAY YOU ALL SUFFER GLADLY THE TRIALS TO COME!"
