Chapter 108: The Divine Dissent – The Shattered Clockwork of Heaven

High above the clouds of the Douluo Planet, beyond the reach of gravity and time, sits the God Realm. It is a place of crystalline logic and eternal peace—or it was, until the birth of the Triple Core.

The God of Emotion, Rong Nianbing, a being of great Destiny, a child of fate of his own World. In other words, a Protagonist in his own story. Now he stood before the Great Mirror of Samsara, his hands trembling. Within the mirror, he didn't see the usual threads of fate, he saw a Void-Point.

"He has created a Mental Processor," Emotion whispered, his voice echoing through the vaulted ceiling of the Pavilion. "The Nirvana Spiritual Core... it isn't just a soul core. It's like a biological replica of the God Realm's own Hub. Lakan Diwa is no longer a mortal playing with energy, he is an independent consciousness that the Laws of Fate can no longer track. He is calculating the future faster than we can write it."

Beside him, a mountain of shadow and violet lightning stirred. A being appeared, radiating a strong Aura of Destruction. The God of Destruction let out a huff that shook the pillars of the hall. Unlike the others, he did not look at the mirror with fear, but with a grim, begrudging respect.

"The Sea God and Asura God are a hypocrite Gods," Destruction rumbled, his eyes fixed on the image of Bibi Dong. "They speaks of Order while Sea God is funneling divine energy into a boy who now reeks of slaughter. But look at the girl—the Rakshasa. She doesn't just destroy, she also holds the Abyssal Void. It is clean. Absolute. If the Sea God calls Lakan a villain for restructuring the world, then he is blind to the beauty of a perfect ending."

Then Destruction smirk "That fight against the successors of Asura is quite something aswell. The way he moves, the way how calm he is, it's...frightening. Throughout the God Realm, I never seen someone fight like that. It's as if, his body has a mind of its own."

Destruction then turned his gaze toward Asura, who sat at the head of the council, his face obscured by a mask of cold, crimson law. "I find the Sovereign's Chaos more honest than the Sea God's Light. Or your Light, Asura."

The Goddess of Life stepped forward, her presence a soothing balm of emerald radiance. She looked at the image of Lakan in the Phoenix Valley, surrounded by his Ten-Fold Nirvana.

"He has found it," she said softly. "True immortality. He hasn't inherited a God Seat, he is growning his own. He is not a destroyer, my brothers. He is a Creator. Within that Chaos Qi, I sense the same spark that birthed this very realm. To attack him is to attack the essence of life itself."

She looked at Asura and Poseidon, her gaze turning firm. "I will not permit a direct descent. If you intervene further, you will face the full weight of the Tree of Life. This Calibration must play out on the mortal plane."

"Hmph"

And with that, Asura and Poseidon left.

Asura's Domain.

Asura felt a cold dread he hadn't known in eons. He remembered the temporal rift—the Future Lakan who had appeared like a ghost and Instantly annihilate the future Rakshasa, and protected his past self by blocking the omniscient gaze of the gods on him. That Lakan had been a God-King beyond classification, its like a being of the 0-Dimension (The Origin) that Asura's 5th-Dimensional eyes couldn't compute.

"The Original flow of that world is dead," Asura's voice was like grinding stones. "The boy Tang San is failing. He is a Child of Destiny who can't claim his destiny, now a Vessel filled with cracks."

He turned to Poseidon, whose face was pale with desperation. "We break the rules, or we lose the board. I have already delivered the Asura Sword. Now, we force the hand of the lesser gods."

Asura's will rippled out like a command from the heavens. He looked at the 2nd Class Gods—the War God, the Food God, and the Nine-Colored Goddess, Speed God.

"Pass your mantles," Asura commanded. "Now. Dai Mubai, Oscar, Ning Rongrong, and that Bai Chenxiang —they are the only anchors left for Tang San. If they do not ascend today, the Sovereign will extinguish the Protagonists forever."

The Gods hesitated. "They are talented, Lord Asura, but they have not completed the trials—"

"I am the Law!" Asura roared. "And I say they are ready. Give them the seats!"

However, when he turned his gaze toward the Fire God, the deity stepped back.

"I refuse," the Fire God stated. "Ma Hongjun is a glutton with a fractured spirit. I have already found my spark. Lakan Diwa bestowed a sliver of his Heavenly Flame upon a mortal named Yan. That boy has the discipline of a forge and the heart of a sun. He is my chosen successor."

The Water Goddess stepped beside him. "And I have chosen Shui Yu'er. Her resonance with the Phoenix Sovereign's wives has purified her soul beyond anything the Seven Shreks could offer. We will not be pawns in your war against the New Era."

And with that, the two Gods, Water Goddess and Fire God, left Asura's Domain by transforming themselves into but respectively elements, and dissapear.

Leaving a Grim looking Asura and Poseidon.

They were once called friends, but now, it seems that they chose a side.

•••••••••••••

In the highest balcony of the God Realm, two figures sat playing a game of Go with pieces made of stars.

The God of Evil smirked, his eyes flickering with dark amusement. "Asura is panicking. He's trying to force a Dual-God coexistence for Tang San. It's desperate. It's pathetic. It's... interesting."

The Goddess of Kindness placed a white stone on the board. "He thinks he can force Destiny to win. But Lakan is Chaos. And Chaos is the only thing that can truly surprise us."

"A bet, then?" Evil suggested. "If Lakan wins this Great Calibration, we make our successors—Ji Dong and Lei Yan—side with him. They are travelers of a different path, and they would find a kindred spirit in a man who rewrite the stars."

They turned their gaze away from the Douluo Planet, looking toward a distant, vibrant world known as The Five Elements Continent. There, a young man wreathed in Twin Monarch flames and a woman of eternal fire were undergoing their own trials.

"Ji Dong and Lei Yan," Kindness whispered. "They will be the bridge to the next world, should the Sovereign succeed."

*Shing*

Then, all of their focus was taken elsewhere as a prismatic seven colors of light appeared.

••••••••••••

Back in the Phoenix Valley, the sky had ceased to exist.

The atmosphere was replaced by a swirling, tri-colored nebula. The Bloodline Chaos (Grey-Gold), the Seven-Tone Lotus Flame (Rainbow), and the Nirvana Spirit (Prismatic Silver) were no longer separate energies. They were rubbing against each other, creating Conceptual Friction that warped the very mountains of the valley.

Lakan sat at the center, his body glowing so brightly he appeared as a silhouette of pure, incandescent light.

The ground groaned. The air screamed.

Then, there was a sound—a single, low-frequency hum that vibrated through the core of the planet. It was the sound of a Singularity.

The three cores began to spiral inward, collapsing under the weight of Lakan's Hingá ng Talas intent. They weren't just touching, they were melting into one another, forging a core that didn't belong to the God Realm or the mortal world.

It was the Phoenix Heart Core.

A pillar of absolute, iridescent light erupted from the valley, piercing through the atmosphere and striking the very gates of the God Realm. For a split second, every God in the Pavilion was blinded.

The message was clear: The Sovereign is no longer a candidate. He is the Standard.
