Chapter 107 - Chapter 107: The Exodus of the Phoenix and the Descent of the Red God

Chapter 107: The Exodus of the Phoenix and the Descent of the Red God. Lakan the Phoenix Sovereign VS Tang San The Asura God.

The Sunset Forest had become a site of holy pilgrimage in the eyes of the Spirit Empire, but today, it was the epicenter of a sonic event that shattered the morning silence.

Originally, Lakan planned to go to Sunset Forest to finally fuse the three Soul Cores that he has into a Singular Core and take another step to his God Hood. But as they just Landed, Lakan and the others sensed a strong Killing Intent Directed at them, and strongly more on for Lakan, as if the one the Killing Intent originated from strongly resented and want to kill him.

Lakan's eyes widened in shock at this, then that's when Lakan knew, that the idiot, instead of taking the time to get used and familiar of his powers, the moment he become the new Asura God, he immediately sets out to Kill him and the rest. It seems that just like in the Original Story, the Moment Tang San became the Asura God, his reasoning will be controlled and become Impulsive. So stupid.

The Agila's engines—now infused with the Chaos Qi and the Yin-Yang Essence—ignited. From the ground, Dugu Bo and Yue Guan watched as the dreadnought didn't just lift, it vanished in a prismatic blur.

Across the Douluo Continent, from the bustling streets of Heaven Dou to the quiet villages of the Star Luo borders, the common people looked up. A Rainbow Streak cut across the sky, leaving a trail of shimmering law-particles that didn't dissipate. It was the Ten-Headed Sovereign Wings' frequency amplified by the ship's hull.

"The Holy Son travels," the elders whispered, kneeling in the dirt. They didn't need a prophecy to know that the sky they looked at today would not be the same sky they looked at tomorrow. The Reckoning had reached its final destination.

As the Agila reached the outer perimeter of the Sea God Island, the ocean below began to boil—not from heat, but from the sheer malice of the Asura Sword's presence.

Suddenly, the sky above the island split open. A golden sun, far brighter and more complex than the natural one, descended.

As Qian Renxue has arrived!

Through Lakan's Chaos Qi injection, she had mastered the Law of the Star Core. Her aura wasn't just Holy anymore, it now also carried the Gravity of a Living Star. She became the Primordial Sun itself.

As she touched down on the deck of the Agila, the wood groaned not from her weight, but from her mass.

She isn't officially a God King. Because just like the other women of Lakan, she is restricted by being in the Mortal Dimensional, a Lower Plane where it can't even support the breakthrough of a Level 99 into the Level 100.

So she would have to wait like the other women, to Ascend before officially becoming a God King.

"I am ready, Lakan," Renxue said, her eyes burning with the Truth of the Sun. "The Tang family has been a plague on the Qian lineage for three generations. My grandfather fell to Tang Chen. My father fell to Tang Hao. Today, the chain breaks at the source."

She didn't just stand in the air, her Gravity Law (The Weight of the Sun) anchored the space around her. The Sea God's pillars groaned under the sheer mass of her presence.

Lakan looked at her, his Eyes of the Origin God seeing the Half-Step God-King potential pulsing in her chest. "He is no longer just Tang San, Renxue. He is a vessel for Asura's rot. Do not just kill him. Remade his existence, however, you can fight him later, because it seems that he is hell bent on killing me first."

Then Lakan turn his gaze on the Sea God Island.

From the crimson storm of the island, Tang San erupted. He was a nightmare of blood-red lightning, his eyes lost to the Corrosive Asura energy. The Asura Sword hummed with the screams of the Slaughter City's history.

"LAKAAAN!!!" Tang San roared, his voice a distorted rasp of divine madness.

Lakan stepped off the prow of the Agila.

"Tang San. Look at what you've become, that's just so….. Sad. hahahaha" And with that, the fight started.

He didn't use a soul skill. He decided to go all out and used The Eight-Gate Overdrive.

"Eight Gate Overdrive (56x)!"

Lakan's body didn't turn red; it became Iridescent White-Gold. His Batong-Pilak (Silver Stone) bones vibrated at a frequency that turned the air around him into a vacuum. The 36 Heavenly Star Acupoints ignited like a map of the heavens across his skin.

He also use the Void-Motion Pulse technique. His eyes went glassy, his Nirvana Spiritual Core calculating the trajectory of the Asura Sword's massacre-path.

The truth is, Lakan is excited to fight a God like Asura Tang San. Don't get him wrong, if it was a Genuine God King, he might not defeat him even if he use all his power. But this is someone who just became a God and hasn't ascended yet, Tang San's power isn't even at the God King, and should still be the same level as his women. He only has One Divine Ring still. Even Tang Hao in the original timeline who is a Level 98 and has an inferior Power Amplification, which is The Explosive Soul Rings, only managed to reach a strength close to a God(Level 100). So with his Superior Eight-Gate Overdrive, and his Void Motion Pulse, he is confident to be able to literally fight and beat Gods of lower level(Level 100 up to first class Gods).

Tang San swung the Asura Sword—a strike meant to Sentence the world.

As the Asura Demonic Sword closed within a hair's breadth, Lakan's body surrendered to instinct, to his Void Motion Pulse. He slipped sideways with an impossible, liquid grace, the crimson blade whistling past him as he moved without a single conscious thought. In one fluid motion, he twirled through the God of Slaughter's guard, his momentum shifting instantly into a devastating counter: Suntukan: The Sovereign's Grasp.

Tang San, seeing that his sword strike was effortlessly evaded, and saw the counter attack of Lakan, has no time to be shocked, he immediately follow it with his own attack.

*BOOM*

The collision between the mortal Lakan and the Asura God Tang San transcended the physical, birthing a silent, absolute Spatial Void that tore through the fabric of the Douluo Star. For ten thousand miles, the Sea God's domain simply ceased to be—erased by the Vibrational Pulse of Lakan's fifty-six-fold Eight Gate Overdrive. The shockwave didn't just rattle the world, it almost knocked the planet off its orbital axis, the sheer kinetic excess threatening to shatter continental plates like glass.

Normally, such a clash would have reduced the Douluo Planet to cosmic dust, but the world held firm. High in the stratosphere, four silhouettes anchored the four corners of reality. Shui Bing'er, Zhu Zhuqing, Bibi Dong, and Qian Renxue—newly ascended Gods themselves—poured their divine essence into a planetary-scale seal. Their combined God Realms acted as a celestial dampener, absorbing the stellar-level fallout that Lakan's Hingá ng Talas (Breath of Sharpness) and Tang San's Asura Law unleashed. Their intervention was the only reason the beyond planetary impact was contained to a single, devastated hemisphere.

Lakan's intent was a conceptual edge that dared to sever the laws of the God Realm themselves. As he engaged Tang San's Slaughter Intent, he did not meet force with force. Instead, he applied Gunting, scissoring through the frequency of Tang San's strike at a sub-atomic level. By deconstructing the oscillation of the Asura Sword, Lakan inverted the God's own momentum. The resulting explosion was a supernova of concentrated kinetic energy that sent the "Chosen One" skipping across the ravaged crust of the ocean floor like a discarded stone, each bounce carving craters the size of entire kingdoms.

The vacuum of the Spatial Void screamed as the laws of physics buckled under the weight of their exchange. Lakan looked down, his Nirvana Spiritual Core flashing a warning: the Douluo Star's crust was spider-webbing. High above, his four God wives—Shui Bing'er, Zhu Zhuqing, Bibi Dong, and Qian Renxue—unleashed their Divine Realms in a singular, world-enveloping lattice. Their combined power acted as a cosmic shock absorber, stitching the planet together to contain a collision that should have ignited the atmosphere.

Lakan knew he had to neutralize the shockwaves at the source. He stabilized his internal state, activating the Void-Motion Pulse.

The Eight-Cycle Breath ignited his 36 Heavenly Star Acupoints, flooding his Batong-Pilak (Silver Stone) skeleton with quintillions of joules of stabilized energy. Within his mind, the Song-Binding Meditation began—the seven melodies of the Adarna merging into a silent white noise that erased his ego. His silver-sun pupils, the Eyes of the Origin God, dilated. He also entered his The ONE form. His masculine hair lost its solid color, becoming a shifting liquid Prismatic Gradient, one moment a deep crimson, next moment is icy blue, then gold.

His eyes also change color into one Gold(Time) and one Silver(Space), sriupimded by rainbow ringed iris, and the faint Silver Energy that signifies his eyes of the Origin God. Lastly, on his forehead, a faint glowing Baybayin character ᜊ (Ba) appeared in a soft Obsidian Golden light.

Then suddenly, the world shifted, he saw the Energy Threads of the Douluo Continent's laws and, more importantly, the silver Ghost Images of Tang San's movements three seconds before they happened.

Tang San lunged, the Asura Sword whistling with enough slaughter intent to erase a solar system. But Lakan had already occupied the future.

In a display of Autonomous Evasion, Lakan's body flowed through the strike by mere millimeters, his movements liquid and glassy. As their fists and energies met, Lakan used the Center-Point Stillness to match Tang San's kinetic output to the exact micro-degree. Like the legends of old, he canceled the impacts before they could propagate into the planet's core, turning a world-shattering explosion into a series of silent, heavy thuds.

Sensing the God of Slaughter's momentary frustration, Lakan triggered the Prismatic Flash. Using his Ten-Headed Wings to refract his momentum at impossible 45-degree angles, he left behind eight Soul Power Phantoms in a 3 Dimensional Octagon Prison.

As the real Lakan pivoted, he applied the Tapyas (Shaving Wind). His wings beat with a high-frequency vibration tuned to the Seven-Tone Lotus Flame Core. The friction didn't just meet the Asura Sword, it also shaved the divine frequency of the blade. A violent Sonic Snap (Pitik) surged through the hilt, shattering Tang San's grip through pure vibrational resonance. The Asura Demonic Sword was stripped from its master, spinning away into the deep abyss of the seabed.

"Your weapon is a crutch, Tang San," Lakan's eight voices echoed, his presence becoming a transparent Stillness Mirage.

The eight echoes collapsed. Tang San, stripped of his blade and his future-sight blocked by the Chaos Qi interference, was hit by the Octagon Prison Collapse. Eight simultaneous Kampilan strikes and eighty beams of Genesis Adarna Nirvana imploded upon him. The resulting pressure sent the Chosen One hurtling through the ocean floor, carving a canyon through the mantle.

Lakan descended, his silver eyes fixed on the crater. "No more toys. Let's see if your Tang Sect's physical arts can survive the Suntukan. Come on dude, if you're a real man, lets use our fist"

Tang San erupted from the seabed, his divine Armament tattered, but his eyes burning with a cold, calculated fury. From Lakan's last attack, it awakened him from his power drunk, Mindless slaughter state. But it still anger him, because despite being a God now, he still can't seem to have any advantage against Lakan, a mere Mortal.

Disarmed of the Asura Sword, he didn't falter, he reverted to the foundation that had served him across two lifetimes. He blurred forward using the Ghost Perplexing Track, but fused with his Divine Power, its effect isnunlike before, then he turn his hands into translucent, indestructible jade.

He lunged with Controlling Dragon, Capturing Tiger, intending to snag Lakan's wrists and crush the mortal bones of the Phoenix Sovereign. But Lakan was already in the Void-Motion Pulse state, and THE ONE form. To his Eyes of the Origin God, Tang San's grappling attempt was a clumsy, static thread.

Lakan didn't retreat. He stepped into the blind spot of the grab using a Triangular Pivot and engaged the Gunting (The Scissor Counter).

His forearms moved like silver lightning, fast, but with extreme accuracy unlike no other, striking the inner gates of Tang San's elbows and the major meridian nodes of his chest. Each strike wasn't just a physical hit, it was a Vibrational Pulse from the Seven-Tone Lotus Flame Core. Lakan scissored the Semi God-King's divine energy flow, creating a Circuit Short in Tang San's internal circulation. Every time Tang San tried to ignite his Asura Law, Lakan's Gunting strikes severed the frequency, causing the God's divine power to backfire and leak out of his acupoints in violent, crimson bursts.

Lakan stood in the center of the devastation, his Ten-Headed Sovereign Wings pulsing with the Ten-Fold Nirvana. He looked at Tang San, who was struggling to stabilize his mangled meridians—the semi God King's chest heaving as the Suntukan vibrations continued to echo through his internal organs.

"You're too slow, Tang San," Lakan said, his voice echoing with the Seven-Tone Genesis Chant. "You've traded your humanity for a blade that you never earned. You aren't a God, boy, you're just a puppet with a sharp toy."

The air around them turned into a pressurized furnace of killing intent. Tang San's hands curled into claws, the Mysterious Heaven Skill churning with a dark, desperate resonance. But just as the two were about to collide for a final, catastrophic exchange, a pillar of sacred, solar light slammed between them.

Qian Renxue descended, her Seraphic wings casting a shadow over the battlefield.

Qian Renxue descended, her Primordial Sun aura clashing with the blood-red horizon. She spoke with a voice full of Confidence "Lakan. Go. This is my battle now."

Lakan looked at her deeply and nodded. He knew the weight of her heart. Generation after Generation of her family lost against Tang San's own. Plus, it's indeed about time, because he don't know when the two genuine First Class God and God King might descende to provide another help to their Precious. They often do that in the Original Story. So he needs to have Greater Power if he wants to confront them, because unlike Tang San, who only has on Divine Ring, those two has 7 Divine Rings(Poseidon) and 9 Divine Rings(Asura). So they are far more powerful than Tang San, or his wives.

"Do not just kill him, Renxue. Dismantle him. Strip the Asura from the man until only the coward remains."

Lakan turned to his soul spirits within his spirit sea.

"Sarimanok, Blue Demon Birds... prepare for Dimensional Warp. We return to the Phoenix Valley. The Trinity must become ONE."

He decided to shift the location, and instead of the Sunset Forest, he choose the Phoenix Valley, because on a second thought, he should do the fusion of the Phoenix Heart Core in the Phoenix Valley, Home and the Graveyard of many Phoenixes. It's meaningful that way to create the foundatio that would restore the Glory of the Phoenixes in there.

The Golden and Silver Blue Demon Birds shrieked in unison. The Silver Kampilan (Space) and Golden Kampilan (Time) manifested in Lakan's hands. Using Prismatic Flight, Lakan sliced through the fabric of reality. He wasn't just flying; he was Stitching a path through time and space.

In a flicker of Hakbang Silay, Lakan vanished, leaving Qian Renxue to face the madness of the Red God.

Lakan materialized in the Phoenix Valley, the hidden sanctuary where his journey began. The air here was thick with the scent of the Seven-Tone Lotus.

He sat at the center of the valley's ancestral altar. Around him, the three cores began to oscillate with a violent, rhythmic thrum:

1. Lower Core: Bloodline Chaos (The Fuel)

2. Middle Core: Seven-Tone Lotus Flame (The Engine)

3. Upper Core: Nirvana Spiritual Core (The Processor)

"The anvil is ready," Lakan whispered. He closed his eyes, his Double-Pupils spinning at light-speed. He could feel the battle across the sea—the solar flares of Renxue clashing with the slaughter-streaks of Tang San.

He drew in a breath of the Genesis Heart. "Lets... Begin."
