As Shunsui finished his hand signs, he gathered chakra at the tips of his fingers and fired it out.
The chakra formed ropes that were blue in colour and were completely made of chakra.
They were fired in such speed that they bound Guy in an instant. Shunsui did not stop as he fired another couple to bind all his limbs.
'Ninja Art: Crawling Binding Ropes.'
The ropes wrapped around Guy tightly, holding him in place. Guy was bound fully unable to move as he tried to break through the ropes with his sheer strength but the ropes had the property of elasticity and thus managed to hold under the stress.
Shunsui watched calmly as his friend struggled against the binding. 'Who would have thought that some of the Bakudo were available as barrier ninjutsu in this world,' Shunsui thought as he remembered a very similar Bakudo that was used in the Bleach verse.
It was not a barrier ninjutsu that he invented himself but something Torifu Akimichi taught him. It was one of the barrier ninjutsus that were used to capture and keep hold of prisoners.
'Now then what would you do Guy? Would you show me the Blue Beast of Konoha in action?' Shunsui thought as he walked towards Guy with relaxed steps. His blades appeared in his hands as if they were always present there.
Guy said still bound, "Shunsui, you are strong. Very strong. And in the past month it seems that you have become much stronger. But..." His voice was serious and full of determination as he prepared to break free.
"DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ME. FIRST GATE OF OPENING OPEN! SECOND GATE OF HEALING OPEN. THIRD GATE OF LIFE OPEN!"
Guy's face had turned red as he opened the first three gates and with sheer strength he broke the chakra binding ropes, scattering them to just motes of chakra.
His body was being enveloped with waves and waves of chakra as the gates increased his power many times.
"I know this would not be enough to win against you. So here goes nothing. Fourth Gate of Pain open!" His body became even more red and the waves of chakra that released from his body increased.
As Shunsui held his straw hat with his hand to avoid making it fly away, he mumbled, "Come Guy. Show me what you got."
The crowd watched in amazement at the transformation of Guy.

In the stands all the experienced shinobi were up on their feet. Kakashi looked at Guy and his transformation and then the shocked reaction of every higher ranked Shinobi including his sensei.
"What is that technique Minato sensei?" Kakashi asked with curiosity in his voice.
Minato explained patiently, "A forbidden technique. The Eight Gates. You know about them?"
Kakashi nodded. "The Eight Gates are specific tenketsu located along the chakra pathway system in a person's body. They are internal limiters placed on the brain, spinal cord, and heart that control chakra flow."
Minato nodded. "Correct.You see the Eight Gates exist in order to limit the flow of chakra within an individual's body."
He continued as he watched Guy open another gate. "Normally, individuals can use no more than twenty percent of their body's full potential, it is the brain's way of protecting the individual from harming their body through overexertion."
"With training, individuals can learn to remove these limiters, referred to as opening the gates. With each opened gate, individuals are given access to more and more of their body's chakra, thus increasing their physical strength and speed. Ninja able to open the Eight Gates have existed since before the time of villages but they are very rare. As for why every Jonin in the crowd is shocked, the training and hardwork required to open even one gate is immense, let alone four. "
Minato then added with respect, "Unbelievable. To think a boy who is less than thirteen years old would be able to open the inner gates. And he has already managed to open the fourth gate. Absolutely unbelievable. Kakashi, Guy is something worthy of respect because I do not think that there would be any other genin or heck shinobi more hardworking and resilient than him."
"It's a forbidden technique so how did he learn it?" Kakashi asked.
"His father is a user of this technique and I have seen him open seven of the gates. As for how Duy san got this technique, everyone can learn this technique from the library even other shinobi villages have them. But the training to master them is so difficult that no one even bothers to do so."
What Minato had not said to Kakashi was that Guy's technique would be much stronger than his father's, 'I have seen Duy san use it. But Duy san had very little chakra, thus his potential is low. On the other hand his son seems to have average chakra reserves. The amount of chakra his body potential would have would be many times higher than Duy san.'
Kushina who was beside them was biting her nails continuously as she was nervous about seeing Shunsui lose because she too realised the power of what Guy could do right now.
As Kakashi heard his sensei's words, he could help but remember the words of his father. 'Guy might someday grow even stronger than you, Kakashi.'
The crowd in the stadium was completely silent for a moment as they watched Guy's incredible power.
Many people had never seen the Eight Gates technique before, and the sight of a young genin opening four gates was shocking to everyone.
Minato and the other experienced shinobi knew how dangerous and straining the technique was, making Guy's achievement even more impressive.
The entire arena watched with bated breath as the fight was about to continue in the center of the arena.
