As Obito's eyes turned red, he jumped towards Zabuza who swung his sword at Obito.
The young Uchiha dodged the attack with surprising reflexes, surprising Zabuza with his quick movements.
Obito's Sharingan spun as anger fueled his actions. It was now Obito's turn to kick Zabuza but he only made Zabuza skid back a few steps on the wet ground.
The kick was strong but not enough to knock the much muscular and physically stronger Kiri genin down completely.
Obito was about to continue his attack when the water that had completely engulfed the area from Kisame's jutsu surged up.
It formed around Obito in the shape of a barrier, trapping him inside a spinning sphere of water.
"Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu," Zabuza muttered as he held his hand up to keep the water prison stable.
He looked at the struggling Obito and then at his red eyes with interest. "Oh, an Uchiha? I did not expect to meet such a weak Uchiha but I will take it. We had been told to get any Sharingan or Byakugan if we can. I would be having fun ripping it apart from you," Zabuza said with a cruel smile on his face.
Rin slowly got up with a bloody print on her face from Zabuza's slap. Her cheek was red and swollen, and tears mixed with the blood on her skin.
She looked at the drowning Obito inside the water prison and then at Mukai who was somehow still holding back Kisame with his strange taijutsu techniques that seemed familiar to her.
But she could see that the water covering the area was being used to Kisame's advantage. He was used to fighting in such wet and difficult settings, making his attacks unpredictable and thus harder to counter.
Rin had tears in her eyes as she shouted, "Someone please help!!" Her voice was full of desperation and fear for her friends.
She felt helpless watching Obito struggle for air inside the prison while Mukai fought hard but could not break free to save him. The pain on her face and the worry in her heart made her cry out even louder, hoping anyone nearby would hear and come to their rescue.
Mukai who was only using the less known Hyuga moves so that no one recognised him having a Byakugan was about to go all out as he saw the situation of his teammates.
He had been holding back his full power to keep the secret of his eye hidden, but now the danger to Obito and Rin pushed him to reveal it.
He had no choice but to reveal his byakugan and reveal techniques that might make the Hyuga clan want his head.
He could only hope that he could.kill the two kiri genin and make sure that his teammates don't tell it to anyone else and help him in hiding his abilities.
'Alright here goes...Eight....what the..'
Right then someone appeared in his Byakugan range. The person had immense levels of chakra even more than the shark looking Kiri genin he was fighting and he was moving at a very rapid speed to them. '
It is that boy that Obito declared he would be defeating. If I am not wrong, Shunsui Kyōraku is his name,' Mukai thought as he continued blocking attacks from Kisame.
As Shunsui appeared in his normal eyesight to his shock, he disappeared from both his normal eye and Byakugan sight. 'Where did he go?' Mukai thought as he blocked Kisame's sword with a kunai.
Before he could think more, he saw that their entire surroundings were now doused with Shunsui's chakra. He then saw Shunsui appear from Zabuza's shadow that was cast on the water he was standing on.
Shunsui was about to skewer Zabuza with his sword but Zabuza managed to jump out of danger as his skin tingled with warning.
He let go of the water prison holding Obito who gasped for oxygen as he was let go. Obito fell to the ground coughing and breathing heavily, trying to recover from nearly drowning.
Shunsui said with a wave of his hand as if he was scolding someone, "My my, despite warm welcome from Konoha, you are still so aggressive Kiri shinobi." His voice was polite and relaxed despite the situation.
"Now then would you be a dear and leave them alone?" Shunsui asked politely while holding his swords ready.
Zabuza looked at him carefully and replied, "What is it to you? They are not of your team Konoha shinobi. Leave and we might not have a problem."
If Mangetsu had heard Zabuza, he would have definitely called Zabuza scared of Shunsui and not fighting him directly. But Zabuza was still perplexed about how Shunsui had come out from below him. He was someone who fought only after he had a handle on their abilities.
"Well, they are still my comrades. And most importantly..." Shunsui's face turned serious so did Zabuza's who wanted to hear what he was about to say. "Kushina san might cry if these two genins died. And I cannot let her beautiful face be ruined by tears."
Zabuza looked at Shunsui to see if he was serious. He then looked at Obito to ask if his fellow villager was for real. Obito who was still struggling with breath muttered, "He is a fucking simp."
