Chapter 6
THE PRESENT
Leslie was practicing in the training room at Godfather's house; after the incident Godfather adopted her as his daughter and ever since that day they have been planning, scheming and waiting for the right time to strike, to get their revenge.
"Hello Leslie, greeted Jiji (a trained hit-woman; good with knives). Leslie nods her head in response, Jiji sensing Leslie didn't plan on starting a conversation with her left, she met Zoey (a trained hit-woman; good with guns), at the door.
"What were you talking with Leslie?
"It's too early for that Zoey, to start gossiping.
"I'm just asking.
"Well nothing.
"How do you cope with her attitude? Leslie is a snub.
"Don't say what you are not sure of
"It's the truth, she doesn't talk to anyone, snubs people who talks to her, since Godfather adopted her I can count the number of times she talks, she's so weird and odd.
"Circumstances made it so, who knows what she's going through.
"Why do you care about her so much?
"She reminds me of my younger sister, the guilt of abandoning her haunts me but seeing Leslie reminds me of her and I hope to make things different this time.
"This mansion is full of weird people, Zoey say under her breath.
"What did you say?
"Never mind.
"Oh..ok
"Anyways I got things to catch up with so bye.

The mansion was in a breeze of activities, Godfather was coming back, they arranged everywhere awaiting his return making sure everything is in order to avoid his wrath.
One hour later. . .
The huge black gate opened, five SUV droved in with a black Lamborghini in front.
"Godfather is here, chipped in a random employee.
The SUV and the Lamborghini stopped on its tracks, some people dressed in black suits came down and opened the door of the Lamborghini, the moment Godfather stepped out everyone bowed their heads in respect.
"Welcome sir, greeted everyone.
"Welcome Godfather, greeted the house-keeper
"Welcome father, how did things go? greeted Allen.
"Splendid, I'll brief you later, where's Leslie?
"Bring in Miss Leslie, ordered the secretary through an earpod on her ear. Few minutes later they brought Leslie in, she bowed in respect to Godfather.
"You are all dismissed, the house keeper said to everyone, Godfather and Leslie leaving for his study.
Godfather walked into his study and sat down, a bodyguard took out a high branded cigarette and light it for Godfather.
"You want to see me, Godfather.
"Yes, Godfather waves his hand signifying the bodyguard to give them some privacy, he left.
"Things have been moving smoothly like we had anticipated (pauses and looks at her) you didn't enquired about my trip.
"I know how it went.
"Fair, I heard about your progress in Chicago, you didn't fail to waste the leader of Mandem, which is a huge feat of success to celebrate. She nods her head in response.
"I never made a mistake taking you in, this is the kind of blood we need in the Mafia world, in the gang world, cold, heartless and unforgiving, he takes a slow puff then puffs out
"Thank you for acknowledging me, Godfather.
"That's alright, you have another mission in the next 14 hours, my secretary will fill you in. She bows again and leaves.
