The tinted Jeep drove into a massive compound, driving past the tall sleek black iron gate with imposing stone walls, the driveway lined with cypress trees, Becky's home, Leslie sat still thinking the plan straight; for so long...for so long she had waited and planned but right now she had arrived into the enemy's home.
Leslie took note of the surroundings, the ornate fountains and the sprawling lawn that is meticulously manicured, everywhere was neat and who ever was in charge of cleaning was doing a very good job.
"We're here, the driver announced, bringing her back to reality.
"OK, She replied, the Jeep droved into a parking lot, the driver parked properly and stopped. They got down, another man walked up towards them and lead them inside, to a room. A man was seated holding a couple of files, she knew what it was. The man looked at her all over then picked up the files.
"You're Miss Lucrezia
"Yes, Sir.
"An orphan based on your background check (flips through the files), you do have a promising future based on your former gang. Who recommended her?
"Orza, the man who brought her in, replied.
"Orza...hmm, he is a trusted made man he won't bring slackers. She's hired, tell Orza I want to see him later.
"Understood (looks at Leslie) come on let's go.
"Thank you sir, Leslie bowed in respect.
"Thank Orza rather, remember tell Orza I want to see him.
"I will.
Leslie was lead into the main house, the house was exquisitively furnished, high classy chandeliers, beautiful artworks depicting the Sicilian and Italian culture, whoever walked in will know it is owned by a Sicilian. Walking past the dining room, a long polished mahogany table seats 15, surrounded by high backed chairs and illuminated by candelabras, Countless rooms stretched far ahead, Leslie wasn't bothered, back at home they had more than a hundred rooms, one had to know it's way around, this will not be an exception. A woman walked towards them, she was slightly well past fifty and was dressed in a maid attire, Leslie knew at once who she will be.
"This is Maria, the head of the maids in this section, he explained.
Leslie bowed, took the woman's hand and kissed her slightly on the back of her hand and greeted, the woman was pleased.
"Who is she?
"The new maid newly recruited, Lucrezia is her name.
"I see.
"Orza will be very much pleased if you explained to her how it works around here.
"Orza recommended her?
"Yes.
"Then she must be worthy, come with me Lucrezia.
"Thank you, the man left, Leslie following the woman.
