Karl swung the staff.
Like a bolt of lightning, it struck the two Skrulls directly!
Their bodies convulsed several times on the ground before they died on the spot.
Even in their final moments, neither of them could understand how Karl had unleashed such tremendous power.
Karl hadn't wanted to waste so much internal energy dealing with two insignificant enemies.
However, the universe within his body had suffered too many disturbances. He needed time to recover and had no intention of wasting any more time fighting them.
"What a shame. I hit you too hard and killed you outright. Otherwise, I really would've liked to know exactly what kind of advanced technology you were using."
Karl looked at the two Skrulls, whose bodies had already turned to ashes, and felt slightly regretful.
Even after killing them, he still hadn't figured out what kind of advanced technology they had used.
Nevertheless, the incident forced Karl to become even more vigilant.
He could feel a slight tremor coming from the universe within his body.
Meanwhile, within the Skrulls' territory, they had already begun activating Hulk's abilities.
"You must awaken the strongest abilities available to you!"
Tothwanwell urged them to adapt as quickly as possible.
They had to bring out the highest-level abilities within their bodies and devote everything they had to the coming war.
Only then could they inflict devastating damage on their enemies.
There could be no hesitation.
"Once you attack, even if you have to die together with the enemy, you must kill them!"
"Use your blood to pave the way for us to unify Earth!"
Tothwanwell continued stirring up their fighting spirit, reinforcing their belief that everything they were doing was justified.
The Skrulls were extremely intelligent.
They could learn almost anything immediately.
The abilities implanted within their bodies also seemed capable of erupting almost instantaneously.
However, there had still been no response from the two agents they had sent after Karl.
Their signals were gradually disappearing.
"What a shame. Those two invisible agents didn't manage to injure Karl at all. That kid really is formidable!"
Tothwanwell quickly accessed their database and retrieved all the information they possessed on Karl.
Originally, dealing with him shouldn't have been difficult.
That was precisely why they had sent only two Skrulls. They had assumed those two would be more than enough to dispose of him cleanly.
They had still underestimated Karl's strength.
"Then why don't I send another group after him?"
Dotilt stood nearby, his expression somewhat grim.
For something so damaging to morale to happen just as they were preparing to mobilize their forces made him feel responsible.
"This wasn't their fault. That kid is simply too powerful. Don't send any more subordinates. I'll handle him myself!"
If Tothwanwell personally took action, he believed he could deliver a fatal blow.
He seemed to have already made up his mind.
Dotilt looked at him with concern.
They were currently at the critical stage immediately preceding their full-scale operation.
If Tothwanwell acted recklessly now, an unexpected problem could easily arise.
"He's nothing but an insignificant nuisance. How could we possibly have you personally deal with him?"
"We're at a critical moment. If our soldiers see you personally going after someone like him, it could cause unnecessary complications."
"Besides, that would be giving Karl far too much importance!"
As far as Dotilt was concerned, although the two invisible Skrulls had failed to harm Karl, that still didn't mean Karl was some overwhelmingly powerful figure.
Dotilt was completely confident that he could take Karl down himself.
But Tothwanwell understood that Karl was no ordinary sorcerer.
Karl possessed a God-Tier Talent.
And there was also that Platinum-White Holy Sword in his hand.
Both made Tothwanwell uneasy.
"I don't know why, but I can't get rid of this feeling of unease."
"If we don't eliminate that kid completely, I'm afraid he'll return even stronger. By then, dealing with him may no longer be so easy."
Karl's identity as the Sorcerer Supreme could no longer be concealed.
What the Skrulls desired most now was to acquire the highest level of life-force power possible.
Tothwanwell looked down at the warriors below.
One after another, the Skrulls were transforming into Hulks!
"Don't worry. They've already begun mastering the second fundamental ability."
"As long as they possess Hulk's rage, they'll be able to recover rapidly whenever they need to!"
"No matter how much damage they suffer, they'll still be capable of protecting themselves. Once they reach the second stage, the power of all their attacks will increase by fifteen percent!"
"That alone should be enough for us to conquer Earth."
Dotilt stood nearby, speaking proudly about the results of their recent training.
"You handled this very well, but we absolutely cannot become careless!"
"I keep feeling that things aren't going to be as simple as we imagine."
"If everything develops as planned, then fine. But if it doesn't, the entire situation could change..."
Ever since his confrontation with Karl, Tothwanwell's confidence had fallen considerably.
Dotilt, however, continued trying to strengthen his resolve.
"My Lord! You cannot allow that kid to affect you!"
"If necessary, I'll personally go teach him a lesson!"
Dotilt believed that he had already mastered a third-stage ability.
With it, not only did he possess enormous power, but he could also leap directly toward a designated target.
It combined tremendous strength with exceptional mobility.
With abilities like those, how could he possibly fail against someone like Karl?
"At present, out of the ten Ultimate Weapons, we only possess two!"
"It would be even better if we could obtain Thor's weapon."
Tothwanwell began imagining the possibilities.
Dotilt didn't think that would be particularly difficult.
Thor's most formidable weapon was Stormbreaker!
If they could obtain and replicate a weapon like that, they would also need someone capable of properly wielding its power.
Stormbreaker could draw out tremendous power from its wielder, unleashing all the energy within them at once.
They had never dared attempt something at that level before.
Dotilt, however, possessed boundless confidence.
He believed that the Skrulls could eventually manufacture any weapon they desired.
Once all those weapons were under their control, their forces would become unstoppable!
"Thor's father also possesses an extraordinary weapon..."
Tothwanwell narrowed his eyes slightly and stared into the distance.
An even greater plan was already taking shape in his mind.
Conquering Earth was merely one small part of his ambitions.
There were countless planets throughout the universe.
If he wanted to become even stronger, he needed several invincible armies under his command.
He needed countless warriors and enough power to bring everything under his control.
"My Lord, could you be referring to Gungnir?"
Very few people had ever witnessed Gungnir's true power.
It was said that the spear would never miss its target and possessed a mystical connection with its wielder.
Even if it ended up at the farthest reaches of existence, its wielder could summon it through thought alone, and it would accurately return to their hand.
A weapon like that was undeniably an enormous temptation for the Skrulls.
Dotilt committed the matter to memory.
As long as they could successfully reproduce all ten Ultimate Weapons, their army would possess an overwhelming advantage against virtually any opponent!
