Chapter 6 - Chapter 6: The First Intelligent Race, Part 1

When I awoke, I noticed the change immediately; the most striking thing was the golden-colored energy spread across the entire planet. Many native species had perished, and only 40% survived. It was very similar to the asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs, though this event was not as deadly.

Genesis: Elena, how is the planet?

Elena: The planet is stable, host. The ascension was successful. Congratulations.

I let out a sigh of relief upon hearing that. Somehow, I had achieved the impossible: I had created an entirely new form of energy—the Origin Energy—now present throughout the planet, especially within my core.

Genesis: Why is it golden in color?

Elena: Because of me.

In a way, that made sense. Honestly, its color was beautiful—not overly intense, warm, like the rays of the sun at dawn. Still, a doubt gnawed at me.

Genesis: Can all the races on my planet see it, or is it just me?

Elena: Energies generally cannot be seen. Very few races in the universe are capable of that; usually, only beings above Ascension Level 6 can perceive them visually.

Genesis: Then how are they aware of them if they can't see them?

Elena: They can feel them. Every race has an affinity for a certain type of energy, and that affinity determines their talent.

Genesis: So I can see it because I'm a planet?

Elena: Affirmative, host. As a core, you possess the highest possible affinity with the type of energy you produce.

As I processed the situation, I felt that I could create my first intelligent race. That information didn't come from Elena; somehow, I could sense it simply by being a core.

I could create this race using a template—for example, I could make humans, elves, dwarves, or create something entirely new.

I was very tempted to create humans, but in the end, I discarded the idea. I was curious to create a completely new race in this universe, perhaps even in the entire multiverse. The temptation was too great to ignore.

In the end, I decided it would be a humanoid race, with a form similar to humans in memory of my previous life. I would call this race the Primordials.

They would have two sexes, male and female. They would be tall—at least two meters on average—and their physique would be similar to that of humans, but their skin would be blue.

However, their hearts would function like cores; within them, they would store Origin Energy, which would help them cultivate and ascend.
