Regina didn't waste time when the trial began. She started summoning high-level skeletons, though she reserved the most powerful ones just in case.
The skeletons scoured the forest to search for other heroes. That's when they alerted her that another hero was nearby, using a cave as a base to create goblins.
Regina didn't hesitate to launch an attack, massacring the goblins at the entrance. She did it so easily that her enemy had to come out.
"Hey you! Why don't we ally? We're both summoners. Together we could form an unstoppable army!" proposed Gerald, the hero of the greenskins, with a proud smile.
However, Regina, the heroine of the undead, felt disgusted by such a proposal.
"There's no way I'd team up with a guy as fat and ugly as you! I'd rather die first," the girl answered with contempt.
Unlike Gerald, Regina was very beautiful. She had always taken great care of herself. For her, appearance was very important.
Her brown eyes fixed on Gerald's chubby figure. If he wasn't even capable of taking care of the body God had given him, there was no need to know what he was like as a person.
He was surely a lazy person who let the goblins take care of everything. Someone like that would only seek to take advantage of her.
Besides, she didn't need him since she could resurrect the goblins.
"What? You damned bitch! How dare you say that shit? Fuck, all women are the same," Gerald said with rage and tears in his eyes. His heart filled with fury in a moment.
And so they wasted time arguing, not realizing their doom was arriving.
Though even if they had been attentive, they couldn't have seen the danger, since it was completely imperceptible.
Then Aku made his move.
He threw the spear and destroyed the heroes' summons to disarm them.
"What? Who's attacking?" Regina asked, still in shock, as her vision gradually recovered from the flash of light.
Unlike her, Gerald recovered his sight faster, seeing what had happened.
"It can't be! My army! How did this happen!?" the boy asked surprised but also scared.
While they talked, Aku jumped from the horse and landed near the weapon, pulling it from the ground.
"Heh, [Arise]," Regina said with a smile. This situation suited her well.
Soon all the goblins and skeletons that had been killed began to rise, wrapped in ominous shadows that controlled their bodies.
"[Reveal]," the girl then said as she extended her hand.
The gem of one of her rings broke, and as it did, Aku's helmet also shattered to pieces, revealing his location.
It was an artifact with voodoo magic that applied a law of equivalent exchange to destroy itself in exchange for breaking an item or concealment spell.
"Aaaaarg! What are you doing! Why are you turning against me!?" Gerald asked as one of the orcs grabbed him from behind and held him.
Regina's lips curved into a smile as Aku pointed Gae Karnak at her.
"Not bad. I must admit it's a good strategy, but I turned out to be more powerful than expected, right?" the woman asked with an arrogant voice.
Aku didn't respond. He just analyzed the girl, searching for other dangerous artifacts she might use.
"Hey bitch, let me go! This isn't fa—"
Gerald was interrupted mid-scream by the arm of the orc holding him.
"Ugh, finally he shuts up," the woman said with annoyance, then looked back at the boy. "Hey, don't look at me like that, handsome boy. I don't wish you any harm. Why don't we make an alliance instead?"
Aku tilted his head at that proposal.
Though he then remembered that voice that had announced the rules. Alliances were permitted.
"An alliance?" the boy asked as he stuck the spear in the ground again.
Regina nodded energetically with a smile as she approached him.
"Yes! I love handsome, strong boys, and you turned out to be very strong," she said as she closed the space even more.
Aku stroked his chin, reflecting on it.
Regina didn't hesitate to insist, hugging his neck without any shame, looking directly into his eyes with a seductive gaze.
"Think about it. You can kill the participants, and I'll revive them! That way we could form a practically invincible army, don't you think?" she said as she leaned toward him, standing on tiptoes. "We could hunt by day and have a good time at night~ doesn't that sound tempting?"
She asked with an insinuating voice. Aku could feel her perfume enveloping him.
The boy nodded.
"It certainly sounds like a very tempting offer," he said as he stretched his arm to place his hand delicately on her cheek, like a caress.
Regina smiled victoriously hearing that.
"How nice~ I see you're someone intelligent after all. It'll be a pleasure doing business with you... among other things," she said sensually.
Aku simply kept staring at her while his other hand also placed itself on her cheek.
"Oww? So fast? Aaaa, I understand now. You want to seal our deal with a kiss, right? How naughty~ but it's okay, I'll give you that pleasure," she said as she closed her eyes and prepared her lips to receive the kiss.
At that scene, Gerald kicked and whimpered. It was humiliating to see that scene, though he also felt some envy.
"However, accepting it would be inconvenient," Aku then said as he made a quick wrist movement.
Regina couldn't even react. Her neck emitted an unpleasant crack as it broke, dying instantly.
With expressionless eyes, Aku released the woman, letting her body fall lifeless to the ground.
Gerald was paralyzed seeing that scene. He couldn't believe what his eyes were seeing.
That boy wasn't normal.
