Sophia stared at Sebastian's extended hand. For a second, she didn't move.
The camera was still hidden above the balcony. Adrian was watching.
And somewhere in the room, someone was waiting for the photograph that could destroy a marriage.
Sophia slowly placed her hand in Sebastian's. The camera flashed.
Once. Twice. Sebastian didn't react.
Neither did Sophia.
They simply stood there like two colleagues speaking at a formal reception.
Then Sebastian leaned slightly closer.
"How many?"
"One camera that I can see."
"Anyone else?"
"Probably."
His jaw tightened.
"Good."
Sophia looked at him.
"Good?"
"We know they're watching."
He gave the smallest smile.
"Now we can decide what they see."
Sophia almost laughed.
That was Sebastian.
Even when someone was trying to trap him, he somehow sounded as though he were planning a business meeting.
Inside the room, Adrian's smile disappeared. Something wasn't right.
The photograph had been taken.
