While Raquel was on her way for mission, she flashbacked to the previous day. Raquel was in the Lords office standing infront of Veronica. She asked "So? What's the mission?", Veronica replied with slight amusement "Wow, you're awfully straight forward. What's gotten into you today?", Raquel responded "Nothing really. You just called me here, so I figured there was something important to do.". Veronica scoffed "Hm, there sure is. It's been three months since the dragon kins attacked. We've been able to observe peace for that short amount of time, but peace doesn't always last long.", Raquel replied "Well isn't that obvious?". Veronica explained to Raquel "Yesterday, I received word from one of our allied cities, the Forest city.", Raquel blinked "Forest City? What do they want with us?", she asked. Veronica explained "So far, some of their soldiers have gone rouge. They've been invading highways, commting robberies and stealing technology from bases of other cities. Another near by city called the City of Mist sent some of their soldiers and assassins after those rouge Forest city soliders, but they all returned injured. Some of them were almost dead due to loss of blood.". Raquel's eyes narrowed slightly, they were almost emotionless "Does this group have a name?", she asked, Veronica replied "Yep. They call themselves [Assassins of the blood forest].", Raquel was a bit disinterested on hearing that "Isn't that a little similar to the name of their formal city?", Veronica explained "Well, not everyone is good at names. So.....! If it were left to me, I'd call them the blood assassins.". Raquel looked at her with amusement "Riiihght?!", she came back to her senses "AHH? WHY AM I AGREEING WITH YOU SO EASILY?!", Veronica just laughed "Ahaha!". She looked at Raquel with a smile and told her "Well, you know your mission, find the [Blood Forest assassins] and kill them. They have about 9 bases.". Raquel asked "Their location?", Veronica told her "They are about 680 miles from the city of Kagahara, north-east. They use drones and other sorts of technology. So you have to be careful.", Raquel replied sternly "Of course they have, they're soldiers. This isn't the first time I've gone on a mission.", Veronica laughed "I know, I'm sorry.". As Raquel was leaving the office, she said to Veronica "Well, I'll assume you'll send the location later. Even tho I can casually find them. Later, Lady Veronica.", Raquel left the room. After she did, Veronica thought to herself "Her attitude seems to be changing a lot. I mean, she's always been the nice, dangerous and determined type. But now, she seems more confident In herself.", she smiled "I'm glad, that's what I like to see in women.". Current day, Raquel stopped infront of Sōn's house and knocked at his door[KNOCK! KNOCK! KNOCK!], a woman's voice responded "Coming.", Lisa(From the Lightning Country) opened the door "Yes, can I help you?". Raquel was a little stunned "Who the hell is this?", she thought before asking "Sorry, is Sōn at home?". Lisa asked "Sorry, but who are you?", Raquel explained "I'm Sōn's friend. I came to see him for a bit.". Lisa told her "Sōn's not at home. When he comes back, I'll tell him his team mate came to visit.", Raquel smiled "Okay, thank you.", and left the front door. As she walked and adjusted her gear, she thought "I wanted to tell him I was on my way for a mission, looks like he's not here.", she sighed "Aaah!". As Raquel was headed out of the city, she thought "Wait a minute, I haven't seen Alex all day.", she panicked "I DIDN'T EVEN TELL HIM I WAS SUPPOSED TO GO ON A MISSION! AAAH! IM HORRIBLE!". Raquel sighed again "Whatever, I'll see him when I get back.". Raquel zoomed off at incredible speed through the wastelands on her way to her mission. About two hours later, Raquel was untop of a tree in a huge forest. The forest stretched up to 2 miles "Wow, this place is huge. Anyone can get lost here if they're not careful.", she muttered. She took one last bite out of her snack before uaing her crystals to tear the wrapper apart. Raquel brought out a device from her pocket similar to a phone "Well, I'm just one kilometre away from the first base. Veronica said something about there being nine bases after sending me the location, she also said that some of the top tiers In the group are between high C-rank to B-rank. I'll estimate only five members of each base to be that strong.". Suddenly, Rahelza spoke "Raquel, if you're going to think to yourself, at least don't do it in the open.", Raquel was a little confused "Rahelza?". Rahelza while sitted on her throne in Raquel's mind explained with annoyance "Girl, they've found you already.". Without warning, a beam of energy that moved at the speed of light came flying at Raquel. Raquel's eyes widened before creating a sword from her crystals that Instantly cut through the beam. The beam Instantly split into different directions, causing an explosion of energy around the forest. Raquel stood straight untop of the tree "Looks like I've been caught.", she formed a helmet made from her crystals on her head "Looks like I'm in for it now.". The sniper from a far got his command "FIRE!". Without fail, the enemy sniper shot another beam at her, this one was more powerful than the last one. Raquel immediately blitzed down the tree and ran straight forward, the beam missed her, incinerating tree's and causing explosions in the forest. Raquel's eyes were cold "Alright, time to get serious.", she looked up and saw about twelve numbers of assassins of the [Blood Forest] group, all geared up and ready to kill her, they're abilities activated. Raquel smirked "Let's have fun.". Meanwhile, at the house he grew up in, Sōn laid on the corridor floor, textbooks and scrolls containing powerful fire techniques were scattered around him. Sōn looked border "Mahn, I guess that's enough studying for one day.". He sat up "Didn't think mom had a lot of her family scrolls around. I should probably go hang with Alex or Kinto.". Sōn paused "Oh, that's right. Kinto texted he was on a mission. In that case, I'll go hang with Alex and Raquel.", he stood up and checked his phone. A message had entered "Hm? Who is it?", he asked himself. He saw a message from Sukuna "Lady Veronica needs us In her office. Let's go.". Sōn sighed "Damn it, it's always one thing after another.".
