A few moments later, the elite squad with the exception of Kazuki and Deo, walked down a dark hall way with ancient symbols and writings on the walls. Mori, Serena, Sukuna, Runo, Sōn and Baraka looked around, all of them trying to understand their surroundings. Serena muttered "This place is odd.", Sukuna asked Veronica who led them down the stairs "Are you sure you're not taking us somewhere else?". Veronica responded "I did say I was taking you all to a chamber, right? You weren't expecting the place to be something flashy, now were you?", Sukuna clicked her tongue "She has a point.". Serena on the other hand was thinking to herself "I've never been in a dark place like this before, the only place that comes close was our second mission back when we were still kids.", she continued to think to herself "But to be honest, we have gone on infiltration missions, so i shouldn't be too surprised.". Mori, walking down with his hands in his pockets, couldn't help but to wonder "This place looks like the training room back at home. Usually, there was a dark hall at home where my dad used to take me to watch him training. That place was full of deadly beasts, that always came back to life.". Mori remembered being in a hall with dead beasts all over the floor, he looked shocked, his father(Rought blue hair, katana in hand and a traditional blue attire.), standing infront after killing all the beasts around him. Tundra Katakuri(Mori's father) told him "Mori. As you get older, it's Important to continue to train. I'm not young anymore, I'll be in my 40's soon. At this age, I don't need as much training as you do, but it doesn't mean I'll just let go of my skills, only a fool would do that.". The flashback ends, Mori thought "I guess the point dad wanted to pass accross to me was to keep myself sharp at all times. Makes sense.". Sōn looked at Runo walking beside him "Hey, dont you feel frightened in any manner? I mean walking down this hall way makes me feel a type of way.", Runo replied with her arms behind her head "Yeah, i do have a bad feeling walking down here. But im used to stuff like this, so it doesn't matter.".The team appeared infront of a giant door, symbols and ancient writing all over the door "Okay, we're here.", Veronica said. Sukuna seemed uncomfortable "Okay, this is giving me a sharp feeling.", Serena also felt the same way "Yeah, I don't like it myself.". Mori and Baraka didn't seem disturbed at all, Mori glanced at Baraka "You feel weird?", he asked. Baraka explained "Not really. Although I do feel an eeri vibe.". Veronica turned to them "What's the matter? You kids are soldiers and assassins, you shouldn't feel that irritated by this. And plus, you all have come this far In terms of strength.", her smile became a little darker, but confident "Be confident in yourselves, there's nothing anyone of current that can take you all down, not even try.". Sukuna muttered to herself "That first part made it sound like we don't have wills of our own. But i appreciate the motivation.", Mori looked at her "We've been trained killers since we were children, it only makes sense to feel that way.", Sōn scoffed with amusement "Hah! Its funny because it's true.". Veronica spread her arms across the door, and with her pink energy flowing all over her body, she was able to open the chamber. She turned to the team "Alright. Mori, Baraka, Sōn. Get in.". Mori, Sōn and Baraka walked forward "Alright then, guess we're doing this test thing.", Mori scoffed "Don't complain and just do the job.", Sōn taunted while cracking his fingers "Haha. You guys scared or something?". Sukuna waved "Sōn, Baraka. Don't get yourself killed, okay?", Baraka waved back "Sure. I wont.", Sōn did the same thing with a confident smirk "Same here cuz.". As Mori was about to get in, Runo called to him "You better not get yourself killed so easily, Deo and I will feel sad If anything happened to you.". Mori scoffed with a smirk and waved his hand while walking into the chamber "Nothing can kill me so easily, especially not a test.". The chamber closed [GBOOM], Veronica turned to Runo, Serena and Sukuna "Okay, it's just you two left.". Sukuna asked "So, what are we to do?", Veronica did a flurry of hand signs, pink glowing cirlcles appeared underneath them. Serena, Sukuna and Runo were stunned "What the?". Veronica explained to them "Your test Is going to be simple. Sukuna, I'll be sending you to a dimension filled with a lot of my shikigami. Your objective is simple, you're to retrieve the glowing pink orb above a castle there.". She continued "Runo, I'll be teleporting you somewhere, i want you to retrieve an item for me. It's a powerful one. And the being guarding it is extremely powerful. Use your abilities to it's fullest extent. Got it?.", Runo replied casually "So its just a casual mission, huh. Understood.". Veronica looked at Serena "And as for you Serena, I'm sending you somewhere far away from earth.", Serena jolted "Huh?!". Veronica continued to address her "The place you would be going has a lot of powerfull beasts there, all In the A-rank range. Your mission is to kill each beast, and protect any human like being you see there.". Serena was a little confused "Sure, that doesn't sound like a problem.". Veronica asked "Do any of you have any gear or weapon with you? Aside Runo.", Sukuna took out a blaster from a small scroll that was in her pocket "Yep.", a few mechanical gear started to form around her hand, Serena also brought out a mechanical sword sparking with electricity "Same, here. It's been a while since I used it, so I decided to bring it along. Did a few modifications to it.", Sukuna and Runo took a look at it "Wow, seems powerfull.", Sukuna said. Runo added to the conversation "Looks like something that can cause a thunderstorm when it wants to.", Serena shyly replied "Well it does.". Veronica smirked "Okay, good.", she snapped her finger, her cirlcles glowing brighter and slowly teleporting them away. Runo looked at her friends with a smirk "You guys better not die. Do your best, got it?", Sukuna and Serena responded with nods "Got it.", the three girls dissappeared. Veronica sighed "WHOO! They seemed to be at high spirit, so i guess they'll be fine. Alright, let's get out of here.". As she walked out, she smirked with confidence "You all have always been strong, I know that because I've watched you. Do well In this test, okay?". Meanwhile, Deo and Kazuki stood infront of Diablo. Diablo said to the boys "Alright, then. You boys ready?", he asked, Kazuki scratched his head and replied "Sure, why not.". Deo looked at him "You're sure are a bit more confident than usual.", Kazuki explained casually "At this point I don't really care for much stuff anymore. And plus, it was just a matter of time before our peace ended and we started going back to our training or something.", Deo muttered "You sound more like aguy who's willing to throw his life away more than he's confident.". Diablo snapped his fingers, black cirlcles appeared below them "I'll be teleporting you both to a space where I'll be watching you two in your fight. Go all out. Got it?". Kazuki and Deo replied bluntly "Sure thing.". Before Kazuki disappeared, he thought "I wonder how Alex is doing in whatever mission he's on.", he smirked again "Whatever, it's Alex. He's probably having the time of his life or something.". Meanwhile, at the battlefield where heavy rain poured, lands flooded with water and giant water dragons hovered out of the water, Alex stood by himself. His head, hands and fingers were bleeding. Not just that, but Alex had suffered an injury on his left lung. Frustrated, Alex had a devious smirk on his face when he looked up at his enemy. A being with red hair , red arms and red legs. Two tornadoes formed around him left and right. Its said to Alex with its eyes looking like that of a predetor "You who have invaded our land and killed Medusayuki, I shall be the one to kill you right here, right now!". Alex's face still had a dark smirk, he was quiet for a moment befofe he spoke "I'm going to kill you. And im going to enjoy doing so.".
