Back with Gans, he sat in his chair quietly drinking water. After a moment, he picked up his phone and called Alex, wondering why she had been gone for so long after going to the hospital for a checkup for the lice in her hair.
Meanwhile, Alexandria was not inside the hospital. She was sitting outside on a bench near the entrance, looking bored as she scrolled through her phone.
Just then, her phone began to vibrate in her hand.
Gans was calling.
Alexandria glanced at the screen and rolled her eyes and sighed before answering the phone. "What is it, Gans?" she said lazily, leaning back on the bench.
On the other end, Gans sounded irritated. "Why are you taking so long? Didn't you go to the hospital for a simple checkup?"
Alexandria rolled her eyes, kicking a small pebble on the ground with her shoe. "Relax. I'm already done. I'm just sitting outside."
Gans frowned slightly as he held the phone to his ear. "Then hurry up and come back."
