He parked carefully, making sure no one could see them from the main road.
Sora and Liam both exhaled heavily, their tension finally easing.
Ren turned to them, his expression softening slightly. "We're safe… for now," he said quietly.
Sora leaned back in his seat, relief flooding his face. "I… I can finally breathe," he murmured.
Liam ran a hand through his hair, shaking his head in disbelief. "Man… that was intense. Ren, you really know how to handle things."
Ren gave a faint smile, but his eyes remained alert. "It's not over yet. Damien knows where I was. He'll keep trying. That's why we need to stay here until I'm sure it's safe."
Sora rested his head on Ren's shoulder, feeling the steady warmth and protection emanating from him. "I trust you, Ren… always."
