POV – Woods
The girl stood frozen under the pale moonlight, clutching the recorder tightly. Every nerve screamed, her breath shallow, uneven. The old lady's high-class car had vanished into the thin mist, leaving only her heartbeat and the faint rustle of leaves.
Red's voice played again, relentless and cruel:
"I don't care who hears… those children are already dead to me."
A chill ran down her spine.
"No… they're not dead. Not yet. I won't let her get away with this."
Her jaw clenched. She straightened her shoulders, determination sparking in her eyes. Tonight, she would act. Tonight, she would fight for those children.

POV – Kim Mansion, Guest Bedroom
Gans slammed Alex onto the bed, his Alpha weight pressing her into the mattress. She gasped sharply but didn't resist—resistance was pointless. His golden eyes burned like molten fire, fury and desire coiling in every glance.
