Chapter 23 - Salim conspired first

What Abraham does not know.

Salim and the judge responsible for the case were in the judge's house, for it is known that Salim is also a judge.

And the latter said to his friend:

«Listen O my friend, if someone from the Eclipse Cave offers you a cash amount accept it and we will give you double even if it is a hundred thousand dirhams.. and we will testify according to the events that you did not receive anything from them».

«Well O my friend Salim, it is good to deal with you and your comrades, and remember that I will make you win the case no matter the price».

...........

The judge raised his hand and said:

«The winning side are the sorcerer Laith, the sorcerer Arkan, the tax official old Ribeiro, the sorcerer .... the head of the sorcerers' school, the judge Salim, the head of the sorcerers' guild Chodo...».

«The sentence is execution on each of Abdullah, the sorcerer Abraham, Hisham, and the demoness Clara».

It seems that Abraham and Hisham who thought they were in a safe zone were shocked by the shock of their lives at this moment.

«Damn damn.. the bastards did it, Laith and Arkan».

Abraham was angry and Hisham could not hold back his tears.

The cunning intelligent Abdullah who cannot be manipulated lost to Arkan who was always one step ahead throughout this case, but he was less affected than the others.

He was in control of his feelings and said calmly to the judge:

«I request to file an appeal against the results of this case».

According to the law he cannot be prevented from filing an appeal.

This means that the case will be transferred to the supreme judge, who is one of the rare positions whose holder is appointed by the king himself.

It is impossible to tempt or bribe or even manipulate a person like this.

This is what was going through everyone's mind.. but Abdullah was comfortable.

«That supreme judge... he looks young in his twenties but he is a clever bastard and very smart».

This is what old Ribeiro said to his comrades.
