Chapter 25 - There Is No Second 25

AIRY GOD: DUST SOVEREIGN SHIROU

CHAPTER 25 — THERE IS NO SECOND

The battlefield no longer resembled anything.

Not a void.

Not space.

Not even existence.

It was a collapsing canvas where reality was constantly being drawn and erased faster than thought itself.

And in the middle of it—

Something changed.

Shirou stopped moving.

Riven and Null both halted instantly.

Not by force—

But by instinct.

Because something about Shirou…

Had just shifted again.

"…What did you just do?" Riven asked quietly, no smile this time.

Shirou didn't answer.

His head tilted slightly—

As if listening to something deeper than reality.

Then—

A sound.

Not loud.

Not explosive.

Just—

A soft pulse.

And everything froze.

Not time.

Not space.

Hierarchy.

The entire structure of power itself… stopped.

Then—

Shirou exhaled.

And the dust around him changed.

No longer particles.

No longer matter.

No longer even energy.

It became something else—

Authority made visible.

Each grain now carried a command, a rule, a truth. They didn't obey Shirou anymore…

They were Shirou.

Riven's eyes widened slightly. "…You merged with it?"

Null spoke, slower than usual. "…No."

A pause.

"…He replaced the need for it."

Shirou finally looked at them.

And for the first time—

They felt it.

Not pressure.

Not fear.

Not power.

Finality.

"I understand now," Shirou said calmly.

"I've been scaling wrong this whole time."

A step.

He didn't move forward—

The concept of distance removed itself between them.

Now he stood inches away.

"I kept growing stronger…"

His voice layered infinitely.

"…when I should've been removing the idea of comparison."

Riven reacted instantly—

A full-power strike, faster than causality itself—

But—

It never happened.

Not blocked.

Not dodged.

It simply…

Didn't exist anymore.

Riven's eyes snapped open.

"…You're kidding me."

Shirou's gaze didn't change.

"I deleted the possibility of you reaching me."

Silence.

Even Null froze for half a second.

Then—

Shirou moved.

Or rather—

Everything else became too slow to perceive him.

Speed no longer applied.

He existed before movement.

He grabbed both of them—

At the same time—

Without crossing space.

And in that instant—

A new ability awakened.

[SOVEREIGN ABSOLUTION]

Anything Shirou touched—

Lost all scaling.

All resistance.

All exceptions.

Riven's power collapsed instantly, his abilities flattening to nothing as if they were never special to begin with.

Null's conceptual defenses shattered—

Not broken—

But downgraded into irrelevance.

"…Impossible," Riven muttered.

Shirou's eyes glowed with quiet dominance.

"There's no such thing anymore."

He released them—

And flicked his fingers.

That was all.

Riven was sent across layers of reality, crashing through dimensions that couldn't even register what hit them.

Null's body fragmented—

Not physically—

But into disconnected meanings, struggling to stay whole.

Shirou stood alone again.

But now—

Everything felt smaller.

"…This still isn't enough," he said softly.

The dust surged again—

But this time—

It didn't expand outward.

It collapsed inward.

Into him.

All of it.

Every layer.

Every fragment.

Every rule he controlled—

Compressed into a single point within his existence.

Then—

His heart beat.

Once.

And the shockwave…

Didn't spread.

It redefined everything it touched.

A new ability formed.

[DOMAIN: ZERO SOVEREIGNTY]

Within this domain—

There are no equals.

No rivals.

No higher beings.

No scaling.

Only one truth exists:

Shirou > Everything.

Null tried to move—

His body resisted itself.

Riven tried to regenerate—

His power refused to rise.

Because inside this domain—

The concept of "approaching Shirou" was forbidden.

"…You've done it," Null said quietly.

"…You removed the possibility of a second."

Shirou looked at them—

Not as enemies.

Not even as threats.

Just—

As things beneath him.

"I'm not the strongest anymore."

A pause.

The dust in his eyes spiraled infinitely.

"I'm the only one."

Riven clenched his fist—

For the first time, frustration clear.

"…This isn't evolution."

Shirou tilted his head slightly.

"No."

A faint, cold smile appeared.

"It's conclusion."

The domain expanded again—

Swallowing everything.

Even the idea of escape.

And in that endless supremacy—

Shirou stood alone at the top.

Not because he climbed there—

But because he erased every other position.

TO BE CONTINUED.
