"Rabbit! You came too?"
"Alright, I'd like you two to call each other by your human names, will you?"
Dr. Flores came into the room with a book in her hand. "Sandy, Kai, I'm very sorry I didn't introduce myself in the beginning. My name is Dr. Flores, but feel free to call me Clara." she said as she opened the book in her hand.
"So... The results?" I asked curiously.
"Alright... Sandy. Kai. I need both of you to listen very carefully. What I'm about to explain isn't something you'll find in medical textbooks. It comes from a much older source.
About 9,714 years ago, there was a recorded phenomenon known as The Form Resonance Shift. It is described as a type of magic that occurs when a soul is... more aligned with a non-human form than a human one. According to the Book of Magic and Anomalous Events, this shift has only ever happened to one person at a time, and only to someone who strongly resembles, emotionally and spiritually, the animal they are meant to swap with.

We stood there for a few seconds (or minutes, I can't tell), but then I spoke.
"If there were other people who got swapped, did they find any answers?"
"....Nobody knows. Nobody knows even if they stayed human or if any of them managed to get back. So I'm telling you... Be careful, okay?"
"....Alright" me and Kai accidentally said at the same time. We looked at each other. "Huh?? Hey, I'm speaking! Stop it!!!" we accidentally said at the same time too.
Dr. Flores giggled. "Ah, I can tell you are connected somehow."
That's when we all noticed Rosy and Snow standing all shocked in the doorway. OH NO THEY HEARD IT ALL.
"No. Way. So that's why it seemed like you were homesick or what!" Rosy said excitedly. Why was she happy??!
"We're so sorry we eavesdropped, it was a mistake!!" Snow said honestly.
"Actually, it wasn't. You wanted to go there, you were too worried!" Rosy giggled.
"SHUT UP."
"Alright, alright. I wanted you to know it, anyway! But PLEASE DON'T TELL MOM. PLSPLSPLSPLS" I tried to convince them.
"Nahhh, don't worry! She won't know anything. So, what map we got there?"
"Waitwaitwaitwait. You want to go with us?"
"Of course!"
The two sisters said at the same time. Accidentally, but it sounded good tho.

I looked at the piece of map.
