The guards rushed forward, one of the guard's hand extended and he used it as a whip that both Arthur and Jenny evaded by ducking. The other guard, however, stomped the floor and spiky ice came for them at an alarming speed.
They rolled each to a side, Arthur inmediately rushed to meet the guard with the ice, pulling out his knife and pushing it forward, only managing to scratch his objective. the other guy jumped behind him and tried to punch him by stretching his arm, but he missed.
Meanwhile, the boss had gotten up and was walking towards Jenny, who was already preparing her flames in her hands.
"Let's play, shall we?" The boss rushed for her head on, with his fist up and ready to punch her. Jenny did the same and both fists clashed in a fiercy battle.
Jenny's arm started to hurt and she evaded the attack instead.
"What's your arm made of? Steel?" Jenny scoffed.
"Precisely"
"Huh?" The boss's arm was infact, made of steel, and so was his whole body.
"This is my power. I can freely make steel any part of my body"
The boss let out a loudl and fierce laugh as his whole body turned to steel. "This is my impenetrable defense!"
But an idea started forming on Jenny's mind as her expression lit up, she then turned to look at Arthur and shouted at him.
"Hey, Arthur! I'll take care of these guys by myself, you go and destroy their lab before more people come"
Arthur hesitated, but after a few moments he nodded and kicked away the guy he was fighting, he passed the boss sliding between his legs and got to her, whispering something.
"Be careful" Then, he ran through the door and escaped the room. Before anyone could folllow him, Jenny put herself infront of the door, her fists in bright flames.
"Alright, come at me, bastards" The ice guy threw some icicles at Jenny which she melted right away, before getting jumped by the boss of steel.
He threw a punch that Jenny was barely able to dodge, leaving a fist-sized crater in the floor.
"This is not good..."
The guy that could stretch his arm attacked from the other side of the room, but this time Jenny chose to block the attack instead, grabbing his arm and burning it with her flames.
"Gyaaaaaa!!!" The guy screamed from pain and tried to get his arm back, but it was mostly burned and he passed out.
"You will pay for that!" Ice guy created a sword made of ice and went head on against Jenny, while the steel boss also charged against her.
Jenny smirked confidently, creating a spiral of flames around her and using her flames to lit up all the room in fire.
The ice guy started sweating buckets and his ice sword melted into hot water.
In this world, elemental powers are extremely powerful if used correctly and by a skilled person, but they also have a massive downside.
The ice guy's elemental power is ice obviously, so that means that there are elements that affect him less, neutral or more. In this case, Jenny's flames massively counter his ice, making him completely useless against her. The same could be said for the boss of steel, who can be melted at a high temperatures. This is the reason for Jenny's confidence and why she told Arthur to go.
It doesn't matter how strong or skilled you are, if you are an elemental power user, if you met with another elemental user that directly counters your element you will most likely lose. This is mainly the reason as to why Jennie was captured in the first place, they had brought a water user to counter her flames, and therefore she was defeated.
The ice guy fell to his knees and was quickly finished by a flaming kick directly to his stomach that sent him flying to the wall.
It was just the steel boss and her left.
Cracking her knuckles she got ready to fight him head on. The flames in the room were starting to make an effect on him but it was not enough to melt him, she had to hit him directly and melt him herself. There was almost no time left, the guards were probably close already.
She charged at him with her punch on fire and was met with his, clashing once again, but this time she got the upper hand and managed to push him back.
His metal hand was bright red and there was smoke coming out of it.
"Kgh... You little..." The boss of steel retreated a little before getting jumped at by her again. He threw a pung that Jenny evaded in the air and she kicked his neck with flames in her leg, landing on the floor a few seconds after.
He turned around and started throwing punches left and right, she got hit a couple of times, resulting in inmense pain from the strenght of his attacks, but she endured it and when she saw the chance she dropkicked him in the chest, as a result of his weight he fell down.
He tried to get up but Jenny put her hands on his chest and started throwing flames out of her hands straight into his chest.
"Get burnt you miserable...!" He screamed as he began melting and turned back to normal to lessen the damage. Jenny stopped her flames and simply knocked him out with a right hand hit.
He was not dead but he wasn't waking up anytime soon.
Without time to rest, she ran off the same direction as Arthur before the guards could arrive.

Back to Arthur who just left the room to search for the lab, he ran off the staright hallway until he reached a slightly different door than the rest.
"Is this it?" Carefully making his way in he closed the door behind him.
Inside, there was a scrawny man with glasses and very long hair eating his nails nervously.
