Jay-Jay's POV
The next morning
My crew and I were eating breakfast at Zia's house. It was quiet, not the uncomfortable silence, more like the type of silence you would hear after finding something out.
I broke the silence first "when did tom come back from new york"
Ben gave Ethan a nervous look "last week, we came as soon as we can when we heard" he explained
I nodded "but my eighteenth birthday isnt till next month, why is he here already?" I asked
Zia finally looked up from her breakfast "could he be trying to throw you off guard?" She asked
I shrugged "it doesn't matter why he's here, all that matters is we make sure he doesnt get to us or my inheritance" my entire crew nodded.
Suddenly my phone rang, (i forgot to add that Jay bought a new phone amd she already has the numbers of her crew, angelo, and percy) i looked at the caller ID, Kuya angelo..
I took a deep breath and answered "hey kuya"
"Where are you?"
"Im at Zia's house. We were eating breakfast."
"Go to school. And dont even think of skipping Yuri is going to check in every hour to tell me if youre still there. And he will take you back here after school"
I sighed, seriously? Was that actually necessary?
"Fine." I said before hanging up. I looked at my crew, "guys kuya angelo called me. He said i have to go to school and that yuri will check in every hour"
Zia rolled her eyes "was that actually necessary?" She asked
I shrugged "that's exactly what i thought" i said before heading back upstairs to change. Luckily i had my uniform in my bag since yesterday
[time skip to when Jay arrives at school]
I was walking at the courtyard. When Aries came infront of me
"Jay, where have you been?" He asked, crossing his arms
"I was at Zia's house" i kept my gaze down
He looked confused "what the fuck is zia?" He asked
I looked up. Shit i remembered he doesnt know my crew "uh shes my friend from when i was at holy saints. She and two of our friends came here to visit me"
He nodded slightly and left
I let out a sigh i didnt know i has holding and continued walking towards the Section E building.
I paused infront of the classroom door and took a deep breath.
Why was i the one nervous? They were the ones who broke my trust not me. They should be the ones who are nervous
I sighed and entered the classroom
As soon as i entered it was like an angel passed through
Everyone stopped talking and teasing entirely and stared at me
"JAY JAYY" ci-n suddenly yelled, already flying towards me
As soon as he landed on me we both fell to the floor with a load thud
"Seriously Ci-n?" I pushed him off of me but he wouldnt get off
"I missed you so much jayy" he said, gripping me like his life depended on it
I managed to push him of and finally stood up
I closed my eyes for a second and took a deep breath and walked towards the chair that was sitting right in front and far away from all the ulupongs
I wasnt going to sit where i used to obviously. When i sat down i put my elbows onto the table with my hands covering my eyes. The day barely started and im already tired
"Hey jay, are you okay?" Someone asked. I looked up at saw Yuri standing infront of me
I rolled my eyes "yeah great especially since youre angelos spy" i replied sarcastically and put my head back on my hands
Yuri sighed and walked away
It wasnt long before Sir Alvin came in
"Welcome back Jay, angelo has been asking about you" he said
I gave a small nod and looked back at the table
Sir started teaching about something but obviously i wasn't listening
I was mosting thinking of what to do since Tom was here. Ugh i hate him since he found out i was the Heiress of the Mariano family he's been out to get me for the inheritance.
Then I decided to focus back at Sir alvin. Soon the bell rang
"Alright students, The teachers have a meeting now so it will be a free period. Please behave and goodbye" sir alvin said before leaving
I sighed, if its a free period it meant the ulupongs annoying me
I put my head onto the desk. I was too tired for this
Then i heard the ulupongs getting closer
"Jay..jayyy" ci-n poked my head
I looked up "what do you want" i asked
Ci-n's smile faltered a little but he quickly brought it back "play with us!!" He said happily
I was about to tell him no but i heard my phone ringing
I looked at it and it didnt have ang Caller ID, so i answered
"Hello Jay. Long time no see" the voice said. I instantly recognized it..Tom
My sudden change in expression caused everyon to look at me
"Jay? Whats wrong?" Ci-n asked
The others also asked if anything was wrong but i ignored them
"W-what do you want" i asked tom trying to keep my voice steady but almost failing
Tom chuckled "you know, you shouldnt ignore your friends, they seem to look worried for you right now"
I immediately looked out the window, checking if he could see me
"Where are you" i asked
He chuckled "closer then you think" he hung up
"Jay, what happened" Yuri asked, stepping closer
I quickly left and went to the bathroom and took out my phone
I callef Percy and after two rings he answered
"Hey baby sistah, did you miss my handsome voice you just had to call me?" He asked
"Percy this is not your time" i said
"Whats wrong" he asked, immediately noticing the worry in my voice
"Tom called me and when i asked where he was he said he was closer then i thought. And i think he is spying on me because he knew that Section E were looking at me, worried."
He sighed "okay, stay where you are and i'm coming."
I sighed "okay i'll wait"
I hung up and left the bathroom. But i didnt go to the classroom, instead i went to the music room and sat down. Pulling my knees to my chest and digging my face in them
I stayed there for a while then i heard a knock on the door. I put my legs down and closed my eyes
Then i heard David "jay. Are you there?" He walked in
Then Felix, Ci-n, and yuri walked in after David. They all looked at me in silence.
Then Ci-n broke the silence "jay, why were you so tense when that person called?"
I sighed "its...nothing" i lied but David saw through me easily
"Jay, please tell us" he said
Before anyone else can speak. Percy walked in "lets go jay" he said and i stood up
Before i could walk away, someone grabbed my wrist
I looked up and saw Yuri
"Yuri, let go of Jay" percy warned
Yuri ignored him and kept his gaze on me
"I wont tell Angelo" he said and i nodded
I left with Percy and I guess Aries also saw me.
Jeez why is everyone bumping into us when i want to leave
"Percy? Where are you taking my sister?" Aries asked
"Hey baby Aries how have you been" percy smiled widely "obviously you missed my veryyyy handsome face"
Me and aries scoffed at the same time, causing Percy to burst out laughing
"Oh my god you guys look like you bluetoothed" he laughed
I just rolled my eyes "lets just go"
We were about to leave but Aries didnt let us
"First answer my question" he said
I sighed "look aries, You'll know everything soon, But we arent ready to say the whole truth just yet. All i can say is that its a serious matter with the Mariano stuff" i explained
"Fine, i wont tell kuya angelo anything. But only on one condition, you text me every hour or so to tell me that youre till alive. And when you'll arrive at home okay?"
I nodded immediately "deal! Thank you" i smiled and walked to Percy's car

I was supposed to post this chapter yesterday but i guess something went wrong and it took me till now to realize i didnt post anything
