Keifer's POV
I immediately started panicking when Jay fainted
"Jay? No jay open your eyes come on" I tapped her check while carrying her to the car
Aries sat in the drivers seat as I sat in the back seat, still holding jay
"Keep pressure of her wound for until we arrive!" Aries ordered, driving as fast as he can
"I am" I snapped
Before i knew it, we had arrived at the hospital and the nurses were pulling her away from me
They had taken her to surgery, and we had to wait outside
Eventually Section E arrived along with the girls and Percy
I couldn't sit down, I couldn't do anything
I was mad at her and myself, she took that knife that was meant for me...and I couldn't help her
"Keifer," Aries looked at me "you need to sit, you look like you're about to collapse"
I shook my head "I'm fine"
He sighed, he knew I wasn't going to back down

They took jay into surgery three hours ago, every time a nurse walked through those doors I immediately looked up
The red light above the door hasn't shut off once
"Keifer, you need to eat" Percy tried talking to me
I shook my head "I'm not hungry"
He sighed "Keifer I don't care if you're not hungry, you will collapse. And what will happen to jay when she wakes up and sees that you wouldn't take care of yourself because you're worried? She'll blame herself"
That shut me up, I didn't want Jay blaming herself for anything because she did nothing wrong.
"Fine" I muttered, following Percy to the canteen
After eating we all went back to the waiting room and the doctor finally walked out the doors
I immediately stood up "how is she?" I asked
He looked at me "thankfully, the knife didn't hit any important organs. She did lose a lot of blood but she's stable now"
I let out a breath of relief. My Jay was okay
"Can we see her?" Ci-n asked the doctor
He nodded "yes, but don't crowd her."
I didn't need to be told twice, I rushed to her room
I pushed the door open and nearly froze
the sight of her almost broke me
She was unconscious, and she looked so small under the covers
I walked towards the armchair next to her bed and immediately held her hand
The second I held her hand, her eyes fluttered open
The second she woke up, she immediately groaned and held her head with her hands, squinting her eyes shut
"Are you okay? Do you need anything, should I call the doctor?" I immediately asked
Despite everything, a small chuckle left her mouth "calm down Keif, I'm fine. I just have a headache"
I nearly froze when she called me Keif, she hasn't called me that in a long time
I slowly relaxed into the chair. everyone else started to slowly enter the room, for once they were quiet.
"JAY JAYYYY YOU SCARED US" ci-n immediately yelled, throwing himself beside her bed and gripping her arm
I spoke way too soon.
"Get off ci-n, I have a huge headache and you're making it worse." She pulled her hand away
Ci-n froze, "Sorry" he muttered before immediately getting up and brushing off invisible dust off his clothes
Aries stepped forward "you seriously took a knife for that big dumbass?" He pointed to me
I grimaced, "honestly, thinking about it now it was a stupid thing to do" jay replied, looking at me
The entire room erupted with laughter, I'm pretty sure a nurse even had to stop what she's doing to check if we were okay
"Tss, you're just jealous jay took the knife with no hesitation for me and not you brother-in-law." I rolled my eyes
Aries's face darkened immediately, "I'm not anyone's Brother-in-law and my sister is no ones wife"
"Yet." I added, while smirking
Jay looked at me "Keifer, stop provoking him. As much as I find it funny when you two fight, I'm not in the mood." Me and Aries immediately stopped
"Sorry" We both muttered at the same time.

Jay-Jay's Pov
Pain.
That was the first thing I felt when I woke up.
I immediately felt Keifer's hand in mine, I slowly opened my head and Keifer, as always, overreacted.
We sat in silence as the rest of Section E started entering the room.
I thought they would've stayed quiet to be respectful, but unfortunately for me, Ci-n does not know what that word even mean.
"JAY JAYYYY YOU SCARED US" he yelled
I closed my eyes for a second, How can I kill a 14 year-old without going to jail?

Soon after, the doctor came in to check my vitals
"When can she be discharged?" Kuya Angelo asked the doctor
The doctor finished checking me then turned to Kuya, "She should be fine by after tomorrow, but it'll be safer to leave her here for observation. So she can be discharged in three days"
My jaw nearly dropped, Three days of staying in this hell...
"Okay, thank you doctor" Kuya Angelo replied, The doctor nodded towards him and left.
I absolutely hate hospitals. Its creepy for no reason! And the worst thing is they don't have lechon here :((
Eventually, Section E had to go back to their homes, and Keifer also had to go take care of his brothers. Leaving Kuya Angelo, Aries, Percy, and me alone in the room
Kuya Angelo looked at me and saw how tired i was, "Go sleep Jay. You'll need it"
I nodded and closed my eyes as i slowly drifted to a deep sleep.
