Chapter 64 - Chapter 64: Revenge Successful

Under the bright sunlight, Pakura waved her hand, creating several small sun-like light orbs. Each orb, accelerated by magnetic force, moved with lightning speed, bombarding the desert floor with thunderous explosions.

A smile played on Pakura's lips. This feeling of being a Turret Mage was indeed quite pleasant. Originally, her fighting style was closer to that of a magic warrior; her Scorch Release was most lethal when combined with her Taijutsu.

This was because while Scorch Release was devastating to the human body, its lack of pure destructive power meant that long-range attacks were easily blocked by various defensive Ninjutsu.

But now, due to the abilities of magnetic field compression and magnetic launch, both the destructive power and launch speed of Pakura's Scorch Release had increased significantly. For a time, she truly experienced the joy of being a Turret Mage.

(This feeling... the combination of two Bloodline Limit Ninjutsu... its power is probably close to a Kekkei Tota, isn't it? Although it lacks the absolute destruction of Dust Release against all energy and matter, its launch speed is much faster than Dust Release.)

"Damn it! Gold Dust Imperial Funeral!" Covered in dirt and pushed to his limit by the bombardment, Rasa roared. No longer stingy with his Chakra, the terrifying Gold Dust surged like a tsunami, pressing down directly toward Pakura.

A cold sneer appeared on Pakura's face. She no longer held back the trump card she had been suppressing. Her intense magnetic field ability instantly seized control of the Gold Dust, causing the towering wave to come to a complete halt, looking like a magnificent, frozen painting.

"What? How is this possible?" Rasa looked on in disbelief. It wasn't that he couldn't see how Pakura had taken control of his Gold Dust, but rather, it was because he did see the clues that he was truly shocked.

Because in Rasa's perception, Pakura had clearly used Magnet Release! And it was a purer, more versatile, and more powerful version of Magnet Release!

Although it differed greatly from the Magnet Release passed down through generations in the Hidden Sand Village, Rasa—the only Ninja currently who had mastered the Magnet Release Bloodline Limit—was certain it was a power related to Magnet Release, yet more complete and perfect.

"Heh, it's exactly what you're thinking!" Pakura knew what he was thinking just by looking at his expression. With a smile, she spoke the truth that Rasa found hard to accept: "This is Magnet Release! And it's a stronger, more perfect Magnet Release than yours! No, perhaps your Magnet Release should be renamed 'Gold Release' instead. After all, you can only control gold!"

Rasa's face turned pale and then flushed. Just as everyone thought he was about to charge, he suddenly retreated. Was he actually trying to run away?

Unfortunately, Pakura was already prepared. With a wave of her hand, the Gold Dust Rasa had summoned immediately turned against him, surrounding him like a city wall.

Pakura sneered: "Lord Kazekage, you really are as cowardly as a mouse! Are you going to abandon your subordinates and flee alone this time?"

Although Pakura had an irreconcilable grudge against Rasa, she held no hatred for the Kage Guard Unit. While fighting Rasa, she mostly focused her firepower on him, using defensive measures against the Guard Unit.

So now, even though the Guard Unit had lost another member due to the power gap, three remained. By fleeing, Rasa was undoubtedly handing them over to Pakura.

Rasa kept his face taut and remained silent. Although he could argue that the Guard Unit existed to protect the Kazekage and that covering his retreat was their duty, in a situation where he lacked the strength even to escape, any words would only show his weakness.

Despite his many schemes and petty calculations, Rasa was still the Kazekage of the Sand. Realizing his death was likely certain today, he didn't lose his composure. Instead, he decided to fight to the death.

He reached out and discarded his metal Ninja tools. Since his Magnet Release was inferior to hers, keeping these tools was tantamount to suicide. Rasa's expression was cold—his Taijutsu wasn't excellent. In fact, few in the Kazekage lineage excelled at Taijutsu. Their sand-control abilities provided both offense and defense; when developed to the limit, they even granted flight, so the requirement for Taijutsu wasn't high.

So he didn't charge into close combat with Pakura. Instead, he formed hand seals and spat out: "Wind Release: Thousand Flying Blades!"

Countless tiny, weak Wind Release blades hidden in the gale swept toward Pakura. However, with a mere thought, a large amount of Gold Dust automatically shielded her. Amidst the pattering sounds, the attack naturally failed.

Perhaps because Rasa's performance regained a sliver of respect from Pakura, her sneer faded. With a solemn face, she reached out and clenched her hand. A massive amount of Gold Dust immediately converged, completely enveloping Rasa.

As Pakura intensified the magnetic field with a thought, the Gold Dust was instantly stained red with blood. Then, she buried the Gold Dust deep underground, letting the Fourth Kazekage vanish forever into the depths of the earth.

After doing all this, a look of confusion appeared on Pakura's face. She stood dazed in the desert for a moment.

But a moment later, Pakura regained her senses. She casually manipulated the Gold Dust to block several incoming Wind Release Ninjutsu and looked at Rasa's Kage Guard Unit: "Rasa is dead. Do you still intend to serve him?"

The Guard Unit members didn't stop their attacks. As a unit privy to many of the Kazekage's secrets, their strength might be lacking, but their loyalty was definitely up to standard.

"Alright, Pakura. These people are die-hard loyalists to the Kazekage. You won't be able to persuade them. Don't waste your time!"

Vegapunk spoke up. Initially, the fight with Rasa was Pakura's quest for revenge, so he and Hancock naturally didn't interfere.

Now that Rasa was dead, he didn't want to linger here any longer.

Hearing Vegapunk's words, Pakura opened her mouth to say something, but Hancock was already impatient. Her figure blurred, appearing before the three Guard Unit members in an instant. She delivered a kick to each before flashing back to Vegapunk's side.

The combination of the One Piece World's Soru and the Naruto World's Body Flicker Technique, coupled with Hancock's own powerful physique, resulted in incredible speed. Those Guard Unit members, though skilled Ninjas, were kicked into stone fragments by Hancock before they could even react.
