Chapter 9 Part 1 Fitness Plan

On the coastal scenic road, Aunt slammed on the brakes.

She rolled down the car window and gazed dreamily at the beach lit up by the starlit sky, sighing, "Now I've seen it! No wonder people always say: 'A thug with brains is the scariest thing.' Qi, you're the first cultured rascal I've ever met!"

"My dad's cultured too! Isn't he a rascal?" Qi noted how Aunt used his full name for the first time until now, she always called him simply "Qi."

It was a clear sign her outlook on him had fundamentally changed. Which direction it would go next he intended to determine that with his own actions. So he did not retreat; instead, he pressed forward.

He wanted Aunt to see him as an equal, a peer, and to offer him the kind of emotional intimacy she'd never give a child.

Aunt answered softly, "Don't mention him again. Just thinking of him hurts me. Aunt's heart can't take it."

Bathed in sea breeze, Qi saw tears glistening on Aunt's cheek.

"I'm sorry, Aunt," Qi replied, voice gentle.

"Tell me what do you want? What do you want from Aunt?" she asked, voice trembling slightly.

Qi paused and spoke earnestly. "Just you, Aunt…"

Aunt took a deep breath, still staring at the shore. "Aunt is much older than you. Sure, I'm young now but when you grow up, Aunt will be old. By then, you'll find another woman to replace me."

Qi considered, then answered honestly: "I don't know if I'll find anyone else when I'm older. But one thing's certain: I'll love Aunt for life. Even when you're a little old lady, because you're my Aunt! And Aunt, you're a beauty even old, you'll be a beautiful grandma!"

At his words, Aunt finally burst into laughter, turning to Qi. Tears and laughter mingled on her radiant face.

"Your dad's a hypocrite; you're an honest villain. I can't decide which of you is worse!"

"Definitely me." Qi grinned, years of accumulated insight telling him he'd won he'd won Aunt's heart.

Her lovely face was full of fondness. Qi leaned forward, kissed her gently, and Aunt naturally closed her eyes.

He didn't kiss her lips, but the tears at her eyes.

Just as Qi moved his hand toward Aunt's chest, reaching to feel her softness, Aunt held up a finger for silence a gesture that meant "stop."

Qi froze. Surely this was the perfect time to deepen their emotional bond.

But Aunt's gentle gesture told him to pause. His respect for her grew stronger than physical desire.

So he retreated, though a trace of regret remained.

"I know what you want," Aunt murmured, "but for tonight, hold back. Last night was your first time, and I know you barely slept, then I ran you ragged all day. If you push now, your body can't take it. Aunt's been through this trust me, I know what's best."

Hearing this, Qi felt a burst of joy this was the first time he truly sensed heartfelt care from a lover.

Seeing his pleased smile, Aunt playfully spat at him.

"Don't get ahead of yourself, Aunt's no little girl. Honestly, you know nothing if we did it again now, you'd just finish and I'd be left halfway; would I have to finish myself? Like hell I'll let you off that easy... I won't give myself away just for your fun."

Her bluntness shattered Qi's confidence in an instant.

"So did Aunt enjoy it last night?" Qi couldn't help but ask.

Aunt glared. "Kid, you've got a lot to learn. Number one: Never ask a woman if she got off, or reached orgasm only clueless rookies ask something so stupid!" With that, she punched the gas and Qi hit the dashboard.

Aunt cranked the music to max, raced the car, and laughed with pure delight.

After leaving the scenic road, Qi assumed they'd head home. Instead, Aunt took him to the movies, watching a brainless Chinese comedy, where Aunt laughed so hard she nearly doubled over.

After the film, Qi thought they'd return but Aunt dragged him to a karaoke bar, turning the private room into her solo concert stage!

Qi liked music, just not the type Aunt preferred. When he asked if the system had "The Marriage of Figaro," she kicked him into a corner.

"You're bonkers this is a karaoke bar, not an opera house!"

After karaoke, instead of heading home, Aunt took him for street food at a roadside diner. By the time it was all over, it was four in the morning.

Qi staggered home, utterly exhausted, trailing behind Aunt's light steps.

The moment he saw the warm bed, he collapsed straight onto it and started snoring.

Aunt covered him with a blanket, then leaned close and whispered, "Number two: You've got to learn what makes a woman happy!" She kissed him, closed the door, and left him to sleep.

Qi slept straight into the afternoon.

When he woke, he found Aunt scribbling in the study.

Seeing her bare shoulders and sculpted back, Qi moved in, hoping to steal a kiss. But as he approached, Aunt spun around and flashed a paper before his face.

On it was a schedule, times and various listed activities.

Qi blinked, confused. "Aunt, what's this?"

"A three-month fitness plan. You're too weak you need rest, but more than that, you need exercise! Plus, this is your official reason for staying here, even if only on the surface," Aunt smiled slyly.

"Don't waste this opportunity I made you a proper plan."

"Running, hiking, swimming, aerobics…" Qi groaned at each activity, convinced every one was out to kill him.

He protested, "But I'm learning Taoist breath exercises now..."

"I saw you do that yesterday it works, but it's slow, mostly for health. To really transform your body? Who knows how long you'd need. I scheduled half an hour after lunch and dinner for it, if you want."

"Will three months be enough? I heard the doctor say it could take most of a year."

Aunt scowled: "Don't try that with me. Boot camps last only three months. Don't tell me you'll fall short. If you want to be Aunt's man, clever words aren't enough if you can't satisfy me..." Her eyes flashed, making Qi shiver.

"Okay, okay... not sure how good your plan is, Aunt."

"Question me? Don't forget what Aunt does for a living."
