Chapter 6 - 06

Evelyn's POV.

It was Ethan. His name shone brightly on the screen.

 Shit.

I turned sharply, my eyes darting between Dominic and Lucas. They also froze, returning the intense gaze.

Dominic cursed under his breath, before taking his length out of me. Lucas followed suit.

Half of my body raised, worry etching my face.

"Where are you going?" I said. "We're not done and—"

"You fucking got married today!" Dominic barked. "And not to just anyone, to our brother."

"I wonder what came over us." Lucas chipped in, his tone hard. "This is so fucked."

 "But he—"

Two seconds later, they were out the door, leaving me angry, and so freaking horny on the bed.

I faced my phone with a burning gaze, cursing at Ethan. He did his, but when it got to my turn, he couldn't stop calling.

"What's the issue?!" I barked into the phone, as I started wrapping my robe around my body. "Why the hell are you calling me?!"

He breathed heavily. "Evelyn. I am sorry, okay? It was just a mistake and—"

"Well, continue making more mistakes then, husband!" I yelled. "I don't care anymore. I'm cancelling all honeymoon trips, I paid for them anyway! "

 "No, you—"

I cut the call short. I wasn't even hurt about the fact that he cheated on me anymore.

Hell, I was fucking his brothers now and I didn't want it to stop anytime soon.

But the fact that he still wasn't accountable for his actions was hurting and annoying me more.

By the time I'm done with him, he would regret every bit of his actions.

I dropped my phone, and grabbed my new vibrator from the box.

I laid back on the bed, parted my legs wide open, and guided the vibrator to my dripping pussy. My eyes fell shut, and images of my brothers in law dominated my thoughts, as I slowly slipped the vibrator in and out of me, moaning their names.

I orgasmed minutes later, and dashed to the bathroom to have the best bath, and a very sound sleep.

It was my wedding night after all.

My phone vibrated on the bedside table, pulling me out of my sleep.

A small groan slipped out of my lips, as I grabbed it, immediately pressing it against my ear.

 "What is it?"

"Good morning, baby." Ethan's voice came through, earning more groans from me. "I was thinking we could go out and have a good time, you know, so I can apologize properly."

My face creased, as I shook my head, getting out of bed. "Why? Are we celebrating anything? The wedding is over, Ethan."

He hesitated for a second. "Well— I just want to apologize." His tone was steady and clear. "But Jamie Lane did call me this morning. She said that my artwork has been accepted and the check would be coming in soon." His tone softened a little. "It's all thanks to you."

I rolled my eyes so hard they hurt. Jamie Lane is the owner of the biggest art gallery in NewYork.

When Ethan and I started dating, I told her all about his artworks and how hardworking he was.

I pulled a few strings, and made sure she accepted all his artworks, even when they weren't worth it.

And now, he wanted to just...take the money?

 No fucking way.

 "Okay." I simply said.

"Instead, we could have a family dinner. Father said something about that, but I thought you wouldn't be interested. It will be taking place at my brothers' mansion."

That caught my attention, as I pressed the phone against my ear again. "They actually...live in NewYork? I thought they just visited for the wedding."

"Well, yes. They used to live here in the past." He replied quickly. "But they left for a few years for business. They said they're back to stay now."

My brows pulled. "How come you never told me about them?"

Ethan went silent for a few seconds, before his voice came again. "I didn't talk about them because…growing up, everything was always about them. They were louder. Better and more confident. And no matter what I did, I was always the one in their shadow."

He took a brief pause, before speaking again. His tone was softer now, slower, like he was choosing his words carefully.

"I was also scared because they have a way of pulling people in. They always have. I didn't want you around them. I didn't want you comparing us. I didn't want you to see me the way my family always did."

I stayed silent, not knowing what to say.

A long minute passed, before my lips parted. "So, dinner?"

"Yes, I'll pick you up by eight." He replied sharply. "I am going to the studio to get some things done."

The line went dead, and I let out a huge sigh.

I started tapping my screen again, and pressed the phone against my ear, as it hummed a little before Jamie's voice came through.

 "Hi, Evelyn. Congratulations! I—"

"Cancel the deal with Ethan. As soon as you can." My voice was stern and hard. I didn't care.

She froze for a second, before her voice came again, softer and less professional. "I…are you serious? I actually called him today and sent a text to you to inform you."

"Just cancel it, Jamie. Goodbye, I'll see you later." I dropped my phone immediately.

There was no way he was going to continue getting favours from me anymore. This was just the beginning, the tip of the iceberg.

About dinner, I couldn't wait to see how it would play out, especially after everything that happened last night.

 I needed more.

 Hours later.

I checked the time. It was almost 7pm already. I had spent the most part of my day answering business calls, even after I clearly told Maddie, my personal assistant, to handle them before I resumed work.

My phone rang, vibrating against my palm. Amy's name boldly flashed.

"Guess where I have to be in the next one hour?" I squealed against my phone, as I fell back on my bed, even though I had a lot to do.

I could have asked for help from my maids, but I needed to do this myself.

"Oh my gosh, the date for your honeymoon hasn't arrived, has it?" She squealed back, and I swung my legs.

"No. I would be going to my brothers in-law's mansion for dinner. I'm excited!"

"Did...anything happen last night?" Her voice deepened a little with seriousness. "I hope not."

"Oops." I told her everything that happened, including the way I walked in on Ethan fucking Bianca in a bed that was supposed to be our matrimonial bed.

Amy went silent for a while, before she spoke again. "This is...messy. You both are messy."

I gave a slight shrug. "I'm just following his lead. He fucks another woman, I fuck his stepbrothers. Seems fair to me."

We spent the next two hours getting ready. By the time I stood at the door in my Dior classic black, sleek, floor‑length sheath dress, it was almost 9 pm and I was sure that Ethan was pissed.

 But I didn't care.

I prowled out, taking careful steps towards his car. He came out with a smile dancing on his lips. "You look gorgeous."

I faced him and mirrored his smile. "Thanks," I pouted, and pressed my lips against his.

The action caught him off guard. I pulled out and saw his eyes searching mine, as his face creased a little.

It was the face of a guilt filled cheating man.

 How delightful.

"Let's go, I'm starving." I said, as I slipped through the opened door, letting out a satisfactory sigh.

As the car roared under us, my heart fluttered and skipped at the thought of seeing Lucas and Dominic again.

If things got heated between us at their house, I hoped I would get my orgasm without any interruption—especially not from Ethan this time.
